Someone gets a Detroit tattoo with some unfortunate Holocaust vibes, leading to twitter fights about whether or not liking the game makes you a bad person:

Fuck sake, stop besmirching the best characters!

Go fuck with Markus.
Markus and Kara each have a specific "rebirth" type moment in the game, and are the characters that have to try to change the world's idea of what they are. If these "all my favs are trans gay babies uwu cuz i said so" people actually cared about characterization, and writing cues, maybe they'd pick up on that and use it as fuel. But no. All the white men are the ones they focus on.

Interesting wokeness.

Any words on how the second playthrough by Two best friends is going?

They're being dicks to Hank even though they don't really want to, Luther's dead, Markus X playthrough while calling North a bitch.

It is indeed a playthrough of great contrasts.

EDIT:

Second gig comes to an end, third stand is teased.

Some pretty hilarious freakouts in this too.

Jacksepticeye was #1 trending yesterday with his video about meeting Bryan Dechart.

Not gonna lie, it's adorable. Has some lore and mocap recording tidbits as well.

game was 23 bucks on the playstation store. compared to the 60 dollar price tag at launch, this is kinda a bargain, so i picked it up, hoping for the full david cage experience. since i'm pretty blind on the story, having avoided lets plays and trailers for as long as i did, i managed to kill connor 1 during that interrogation scene early on, leading to some very awkward small talk with hank at the station when connor 2 showed up. i now know what to do on a second playthrough of this

I had fun with this game, but the indica kept my critical thinking in check. David Cage games are something I turn to for brainless entertainment. I go in with low expectations, so I am never disappointed.

Where else can I get an easy platinum trophy from a mildly amusing B movie, anyway?

im only up to the part where i finished the manor part of kara's story. it's odd that i kinda like this game, but i kinda like this game, at least so far

so i finally beat it. wasnt that bad tbh. managed to keep everyone alive and the androids free and kara safe with absolutely no save scumming at all

Amazing how none of the lpers I tried could even manage that much.
truth was i did save scum because connor fucking died and i just turned off my console going "nope, thats not canon"
A bit of a late response but which one is that?
my memory of the game is kinda wack so i wanna say its during the jericho scene or something else because i dont remember the game too well

I think the only person that died in my playthrough was the big black android while trying to boat under the Ambassador Bridge. And that was probably the first David Cage game I'd played since Indigo Prophecy.

Decent game, probably the best in terms of actual gameplay that Cage has done. Connor and Hank are great, but Markus is pretty one-note and Cara basically doesn't matter to the story outside of the events that lead to her going deviant.

During the investigation into the TV broadcast takeover, choose to interrogate the 3 broadcast operator androids, get the deviant to take out Connor's heart valve, then just wait around until the time runs out.

Hank rushes in to find Connor on the floor, and calls him son while he "dies". Hank showing how he's warming up to Connor is just so good, makes his reaction to his replacement next chapter all the more heartbreaking.

Ahh yeah, I remember discovering that after having gotten very close to getting it naturally. At some level it's good that bad actions can result in interesting results. It's a point in favor of the divergent storytelling that they try to do, which is incredibly hard.
