Does this stupid motherfucker think that firms and courthouses don't send certified mail? Does he think they don't have a fucking record of any attempted service?

How is he this old and this stupid? It's almost like he's used to living in a different country, the way he completely doesn't understand the US legal system. I mean I doubt it's powerlevelling; if you have so much as significant student debt you're familiar with trying to be serviced. They'll get that letter to you and if you avoid it, they don't give a fuck, they have proof they exhausted their options in contacting you, and that's all they need.

How can you expect Phil to know anything about court procedure after being involved in a lengthy bankruptcy?

It's like him asking to how to run when he started playing Dark Souls 3.

Ditto. Bankruptcy saga taught us all not to expect Phil to be fucked by karma. I'd rather not have any expectations in regards to the foreclosure. If Phil gets fucked, that's a pleasant surprise. If not, well, that was expected.

It will get him, it's already plainly clear getting away with bankruptcy has taught him nothing and he's still spending like a sailor on shore leave. But it will likely take years, maybe even decades, and with a slow winmper rather than a glorious implosion.

Well today’s the day folks will the tried and proven pig roach luck build survive will the judge “grant permission dood” to midfirst will khat herself get blacked by the bailiff via zoom
Today’s episode of detractor ball Z is going to be lit
I think that's optimistic, Khet is the sister that likes the slim Jims, Jenna is the one that goes for Tyrone.

Uhhh how do they know that's still his address? Checkmate.

Ok I'm revising my prediction: Midfirst will get the default judgement but during Piggys water break the Midfirst headquarters will have a carbon monoxide leak killing dozens before being hit by a meteor the size of a box truck and its CEO will be arrested after a laptop of his is found to contain pictures if he and Harvey Weinstein doing blow off the asses of 10 year old girls.

Yeah. Fucking exactly. Of course they fucking have notice of service. Jesus Christ, Phil. It's getting to the point where the turnaround on your lies is like 24 hours before someone comes bearing receipts in the form of signed affidavits. So Phil are you calling this lawyer a perjurer before the court? That's a pretty fucking serious claim.

So it seems Phil's court timeslot was 2 hours ago:
At least if the court is running on time. Any smoke signals from the pig palace?

So if I'm reading that right, Pilicy & Ryan is the firm representing Phil.

Other cases have a firm, self-rep or no appearance listed. So paying for that is probably why he's been so pissy. And shoots down the small possibility that Midfirst had a shaky position to collect a deficiency, which would be granted because Phil ignored it rather than opposed it.

It's also possible they're representing the owners of the condo facility (no idea what to call it), who are also party to the case. It's much more likely to me that they would hire services than DSP from across the country, especially since the foreclosure has been public knowledge for a year and hiring an attorney would give him something to beg about.
edit: ninja'd hard

I had a feeling it would be for the association, since this is a condo we're talking about, not a house. And, as has been said, Phil didn't beg for extra money, which he would absolutely need because he doesn't plan ahead.

No, what he is pissy about lately is being homeless in Champions again and his LINE account being found and brought up by a long-time defender on the KoH forums.

I thought that maybe Big Boy Phil's inability to take the L after pounding his moobs about giving permission to foreclose and how stupid the detractors were to think anything would happen outweighed his need to beg upfront. Afterwards, on the other hand, for unspecified expenses... but I'm glad to be wrong.

So what would the condo associations dog in this fight be exactly and what are they trying to prevent?

Unless Phil is really stupid enough to think his is a sort of victimless crime situation, Phil probably did what he did here assuming the condo association would be left holding the bag. They're probably trying to tell the debtors to go after Phil for whatever money is being sought.

IANAL

Instead he's avoiding the whole court proceeding like a fucking ostrich with it's head in the sand, and his whole story is "nothing will happen to me, it's out of my hands and the bankruptcy will protect me". I think he believes his own lie this time and whatever they rule is probably going to be reported to him by us which he won't believe at first unless it's nothing.
He could be entirely right about that though. It would be pure pigroach but it would not be the first time. At least in theory bankruptcy should protect him. Just standing there like an idiot and doing literally nothing to make sure of that is pure DSP but getting away with it is, too.

In Connecticut there are apparently circumstances in which a strict foreclosure allows for deficiency judgements, but I think Phil and/or his lawyers/condo association are fairly certain this won't be the case based on his demeanor.

If there was any chance of this, he'd be begging his eyes out.

No, Phil really does think that he's protected, the thought of there being a bag for anyone to get left with hasn't even crossed his mind. Remember, he has NOT consulted a lawyer on this just to be on the safe side, Phil doesn't do that. If he did, he wouldn't have ignored his summons, because a lawyer would NOT tell him to give the court the finger.

Well supposedly he is. My speculation otherwise is just based on MidFirst being absolutely scummy enough to make a ridiculous argument otherwise.
