Now that we have at least two trailers with at least some context I'm finding myself enjoying theorizing about the factions of the world. Specifically what BRIDGES is, which appeared in the second and now this recent third trailer. It seems like the main character Porter is a member of this faction, and may be the de-facto government of this post-apocalyptic (raptured?) world.
We haven't seen any women, and capsule babies appear to be some sort of ward against the demons/extradimensional entities. Remaining humans may lack the ability to reproduce. In the trailer it seems like having a baby-capsule powers the backpack entity detector, and may give you the ability to see the entities. Some have suggested a literal rapture and that those who are left behind are soulless, and babies act as a surrogate soul to tether them to the world or something (this is just fun head-canon of course).
The team in this third trailer seem to be members of "Corpse Disposal Team 6", and were in the process of transporting a body before crashing. Clearly the crew felt being taken was worse than death, and have an elaborate process for corpse disposal. This indicates that there is a real concern about either a eternity in hell situation (re: souls) or that by being taken you fuel the other-worldly-entities (but corpses are still a concern?).
I'm probably going to have more fun thinking about this than actually playing the game, and the real story will probably be worse than anything that gets discussed. I'm a fan of SCP so this type of psychological horror stuff is pretty cool in my book.

We created the "Bridges" technology featured on the badge. It was inter-dimensional travel that linked the US and likely the world. Only we fucked up and collided with something that essentially broke our dimension and reality itself. Which has altered the flow of time and allowed beings that live outside of our three dimension time centric reality to flow into our own/created these beings through the device.
