I've been picking up and learning sinclair, I gotta say the memes are true. Hard but rewarding character. I'm not top fragging by any means but being able to turn up to a team fight and just yoink the best ult that the enemy has in that fight + turning them into bunnies + bolt it's legit a game changer. My favorite instances so far have been tossing the assistant behind me, mad rushing into enemies to pick bebop ult, teleporting back, catching zipline and then just launching beam. I've done that with Lash ult, with dynamo ult too. It's so nice when I can use the ults better than they can. on the flipside though I can't front line for shit, so if frontline is bad it's probably GG. The walkers are surprisingly easy to solo as well.

I contemplated trying Sinclair and Doorman before remembering that the latter in particular is anti-fun. Ended up deciding to stick with frontlines and get Yamato in as a 4th character. I’ve won all but one of the matches I’ve played as her since deciding to grind out the 15 standard games. I’ve gotten MVP or key player in most of them, but they’ve been absolute slogs. I thought the comeback changes would shorten games, but nooooo. I’m glad my teams were able to claw our way back but the one with the 0-17 Vyper and a barely better than that Geist nearly made me chip a tooth.

Edit: How’s Calico at this point?

Honestly I've never played calico but I can't say she's ever been a menace to me in any of my regular games on standard, I actually don't think I've seen her much at all. Drifter as of late fills that roaming assassin role a lot better than her it feels like. I'd say give sinclair a shot, he's got a high skill ceiling and the potential with them is insane.

Sinclair is great fun yeah. Don't overlook the potential of meteor bolts (just toss both bolts 45 degrees upwards and redirect them at your real target after a few seconds) especially with guardians/walkers.

The real fun steal that nobody realizes with him though is warden ult. The most Sinclair moment I've ever had was jumping off zipline into 4 people pushing our walker on round 5 in SB, stealing warden ult and getting 4 kills in 5 seconds and us just kinda strolling over to their walker and pushing it down 30 seconds later.

Other really fun strat I just clued into recently : Viscous ult in small hallways, aimed at the wall. If you bounce back and forth every half second or so you can effectively fighting game juggle enemies caught in it. It rules.

We have confirmation that the next content patch is early next week. This is not a drill. Hopefully we get some remodels at least. I’d love to have Yamato, Warden, and Sinclair not be placeholders anymore.

Started playing recently. Maybe one of the best looking games in terms of a general design and aesthetics. It's a shame I suck at shooters.
What with the troon levels? Discord is completely troon-infested but I don't expect anything else there, it's a Discrord by the end of the day. I wonder if the game is already at TF2 level troon infestation or is there still a chance it will mellow out?

It's a valve game and has no chat filter. Valve games are memed on for having both trannies and neo-nazis with tf2 having chud servers like DixieDandy.

Sodomites thrive in an environment of either censorship or silent compliance. They want to live in a weird Hegelian version of reality where as long as they silence their opposition their abstract can become the new reality. All you have to do to to them is to call them a faggot, you won’t get banned at worst you’ll play 10 games in a low priority queue for 10 games.

EU serves are already pretty chill as long as you can handle slavs being slavs. NA could be brimstone straight from niggerhell, I wouldn’t know. Just be the change you want to made, if you won’t call a tranny a faggot when they try to ship the female characters nobody will.

Play lash or graves.

This game's subreddit is a prime example of this. Sometimes I check it out of boredom, I saw this shit the other day:

For context, Deltatroon has a character that is very obviously a man, but is referred to as they. This has caused significant online slapfighting for 6 years in the Deltatroon community, as the tranny majority of the fanbase argues that the main character is nonbinary (despite it not being confirmed). At some point, an editor for the DR fandom wiki added 70+ citations of in game dialogue to own the chuds. Since Deadlock has the exact same situation going on with Pocket, someone repeated the move on the Deadlock wiki.

(Top 1% Goyim) "Luckily people voicing the wrong opinion aren't allowed here so we can have a nice hugbox"

Almost every week there's a post complaining about people being racist/sexist/homophobic in game chat and Valve not punishing people for it. It's always funny to sort by controversial on these posts and see people downvoted to hell for saying "just ignore it" or other reasonable things.

In my experience, you get both ends of the chud-troon spectrum in game, but it's rare. People in ranked are mostly normal.

I don't really mind mentally ill characters or nigger characters, I even like some of the nigger characters like Haze. I do have slight problems with the troon-bait unicorn clown character, but nothing serious. My only concern is the ratio of normal people to insane but as you said, I guess Valve games are for both the chuds and the troons. I just have PTSD after Destiny 2 so I'm checking

I suspect the real tranny cancer is going to arrive when they get round to properly fleshing out the character background lore once the game has fully released.

It's easy to forget that Valve are based in Bellevue, Washington, where all the rich faggots that run Seattle actually live so they don't have to deal with the consequences of their policy decisions, so while Gabe and the other execs are smart enough to understand that they have to accommodate the chudish nature of both the South American Spics and Eastern European Slavniggers that make up a substantial part of their audience, the actual dev team itself is filled with exactly the sort of people you'd expect to see working in tech in the Seattle metro area (ie. faggots), so I strongly suspect that the wider game lore will be where Gabe will let them run riot in order to compensate for making them put up with Ivan screaming slurs in Cyrilic every single game.

So yeah once the visual novels start coming out be prepared to see Celeste, in her final panel, using her own horn to bravely dilate her pozzed tranny gash. Calling it right now.

My expectation is that they give her some sort of tragic backstory thing that she Got Over just so she can be SO BRAVE. They seem to lock onto those characters like crazy especially if the thing is some sort of mental issue/trauma (Deltarune/Celeste/Omori/that one lowpoly robot fps whose name i forget being games absolutely infested due to that shit).

Meanwhile my current favorite really funny strategy that nobody expects is using Venator's 2 as a rocket jump. Aim straight down and you get around 3/4th of a normal jump's height out of it. Jump into downwards 2 into jump into airdash works extremely well for escaping Lash ult if you get thrown, plus the 2 usually hits Lash.

Sinclair is a hero that I'd really like to learn to play. I just can't get over how their character is just two bickering blacks.

You know the playerbase is hungry when there’s a full website tracking pizza and flightpaths around Valve headquarters, said website is wired into a traffic camera outside the building, a Sinclair cosplayer shows up and starts breakdancing, and Pocket/Mina cosplayers show up and throw umbrellas and frogs at each other.

The devs are playing along with it.

From their perspective it must be very gratifying to see such an overwhelmingly positive and passionate response to their new IP.

Helps that deadlock’s community is so far quite good and well behaved since the troons have no power in it so far.
