That is totally in character of Riot Games to label competitors as spyware and block them from running. Maybe that's another reason why Valve's games don't have kernel anti-cheats, just so that Vanguard can't block their games.
To give more information on what I've read and seen and researched: ranks seems to go on a individual stats like;Changes in the rankings may have been changed in the most recent update too Quote from Streamer and Crybaby Metro

But with the numerous games and computers that either get bricked by Vanguard, or other anti-cheats that detect Vanguard as suspicious software, it's to be expected from Riot Games using literal Chink spyware.
