Thanks Capcom, very cool!
The artist they outsorced this to 110% was or is a Tumblrite, and makes fag art you can just tell. Just look at the main zombie... eugh.

Looks like Neobards are the developers/helped develop the remaster. Capcom farms some amount of work to them but i'm not sure of the extent. They were heavily responsible for Resident Evil: Resistance and also involved in RE;Verse.
Hilarious how people are hoping Silent Hill f will be anything of value when those devs are involved.
Anyways here's a string only version of Kill The Sound from DR2.
I wish Capcom funded live performances for the best of the dead rising OSTs.

Does not bode well for the release.
Its insane to me capcom still works with them after 2 massive failures. Like why dont they understand outsourcing to the west is a mistake

NYC stock market vampires and appeal to Hollywood types. It's pretty much the only explanation when you think about how much Jap work culture is extreme yet also decayed. Some chink appeal too maybe, it has to be as worldwide as possible, rare to see Japs making games revolving around America with their own visions in mind. Furthermore I suspect the Westernification is because they want more money or believe it to be expansive. The RE7 devs spent all of 2012/2013-2017 forming an amazing revival of Resident Evil but it all amounted to nothing when capcom cashed in on re2 demake. A lot of Jap companies chase the pot of gold they perceive. Capcom has never changed they have always been absolute cunts why do you think the RE director abandoned ship after 4? And surprise surprise the hack that is Hideaki Itsuno recently left probably because of how dogshit Dragon's Dongma II performed that DLC that was supposed to "save da game!" is 100% shitcanned by now I bet. Capcom only got more praise because newcomers and old fans like me loved RE7 and re2. And I guess DMCV which kickstarted the idea that they've changed as a company. This unnecessary and baffling remake hopefully begins the idea of stagnation people are getting even more than RE3 and RE4 did. I'm just waiting for them to remake the wrong game (Hopefully this one) which would make other developers avoid following in Capcom's remake pie in the sky. It's bad enough even Reddit is mixed before release without much censorship, even a lot of em mocking the censorship. That's how much of a classic Dead Rising is to many. I don't think the remake crowd will survive this one.

um.... he didnt. he went on to direct god hand. Creative types like him or kamiya dont tend to direct sequels for games they create. That's why 4 is so different if he had to make a new RE sequel he probably wouldn't enjoy it so he used it as an opportunity to make something new and then made god hand which is very much an evolution of RE4's gameplay.

Who am I to argue with a retarded vtuber pfp Jap ballwasher anyway. Capcom won't ever publish another Godhand or unique game like it so my general point remains.

We no longer live in an industry that encourages and nurtures creativity that leads to unique shit like Dead Rising 1, God Hand, Killer 7, or Okami and is willing to fund the talent and labor necessary to create them. Nor is there anyone left with the talent to make a game that could match up to even the 3/10s of 20 years ago. Any of the old guard who are still left are just taking or giving orders to churn out slop, or they are going out on their own, deepthroating gaijin journos, and showing how they are nothing without the big zaibatsu backing them (e.g. Keiji Inafune, Yuji Naka, Yu Suzuki, Hideo Kojima, and likely many more). We are all doomed to suffer with interactive movies, soulless remakes, Unreal Engine slop, and endless microtransactions. At this point even reverting back to AA and indie won't save the industry because they just keep ripping off what's been done before anyway. Luckily, there's a lifetime of retro games to enjoy with thousands of unique titles as we await the impending crash so I wouldn't consider it a big loss.

Your statement was just wrong, he didn't leave after re4. instead of realizing you're wrong you throw a tantrum like a low IQ low impulse nigger.

No reason to be doom and gloom about it we are somehow in a world where we're getting a hi-fi rush 2 and that's because people didn't buy starfield which finally shows that people aren't eating up bethesda slop anymore. The future is bright.

I see this shit and I am reminded why I miss the early 2000's-2010's so badly....

Its kind of a good visual comparison of the changes in culture between DR1 and DR1DR. DR1 was pretty japanese while DR1DR is still japanese but with a lot of the western shit that people in the west itself have come to despise. Capcom did the ocassional good decision but their standard are still shit decisions that snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Everyone wanted a DD2 game, when they made it was mid garbage. Their remakes range from decent to pretty awful. And yet all their failures are forgotten and forgiven as people only focus on the little good while ignoring the grand picture.

Its like I say, gamers have the memory span of gold fishes and the forgiveness capacity of nuns

I agree about not gloom and doom but the future is very far from bright just yet, dont drink the copium.

Meh.
If you saw my posts on the Resident Evil thread I am generally pro-remake (as in I appreciate both the OGs and remakes), but DRDR hits me as tastelessly bland and mediocre.

I have preordered it and will try it out, but my enthusiasm is dwindling by the day.

I just don't get the point, it looks exactly the same. At least the REmakes offer something new, they're entirely different games (they really should just be new games in a new setting but both can exist) The dead rising remake serves no purpose, there's zero reason it can't be a new game instead.

Gotta agree.
Even the Dead Space remake, which is more or less a copy paste of the OG, tweaked things a bit and added content.

Or a new IP that can expand on the original concepts the series presented while doing new things since that wouldn't upset people much unless they actively market it as a successor... yknow, because after 2 and especially 3 I already feel they did enough, nothing left to milk. I miss when companies could do successors without it only being a fan aspect. There is literallt nothing left to tell about Dead Rising as an IP after Off The Record which wasn't even canon but was a fun story, albeit even the first game essentially provides enough endings to render sequels useless and the success of 2 was purely the gameplay enhancements and wider scope.

The character designs really don't convince me tbh.
They look worse than anything done with the RE engine, and somewhat even worse than the original 2006.

WTF Is this.
So we really are getting a game that looks worse than a product from 2006, then

Where do we even begin? Let's start with that gay jewelry on his head. Is Sean a leader of a death cult or a hippie commune? He looks less like he's about to execute an innocent woman and more like he's getting bad chakras from all those zombie buzzkills, man. That or he shit himself, hard to tell with that retarded expression on his face.
Yup, people who are getting excited for this are looking dumber by the day. This isn't even going to be a case of the remake being different enough to warrant a playthru on it's own like RE2 or RE4, it will just be a downgrade in every single regard, including graphical one.

One last trailer as we inch closer to the release date. You ready for this trash heap? I'm not.

Shillp0 calls the original a "chore to play". "The original was very picky about how you played it" yes thats literally the pinnacle of its success and the game forced you to be creative about how you play the game which arguably gives more freedom than the remake letting you pass time, using the free time you EARNED to level up and explore was something I did and its fun. "The original felt like it was made by aliens". The remake has some of the same bugs too which negates any reason to waste money on this.
Throwing the game he did an absurd amount of work for (which he likely took credit from other dataminers) under the bus. Its just insane to me, but whatever scores him Capcom brownie points. Hell, even troon hunter was iffy about this since theres literally NOTHING to defend about this cashgrab.
What a fucking faggot I hope he becomes a lolcow and has more outbursts.
Also yes the daytime is washed out and ugly vs the original.but then he says "the morning and night is beaaautiful!". What a joke.

I finished a playthru of Dead Rising 3 with time scalar set to 2 vs 1 of the base game. I have no scientific method of calculating how fast the clock ticks down and I can't be bothered to quite literally wait to see how fast it goes in-game, so with the lack of information we're given on the subject I can simply give you data I collected so far:
Nightmare Mode(scalar set to 4) leaves me with mere hours to complete ending S with no sidequesting in-between unless prompted to by game or when dealing with survivors on the way.
Base game(scalar set to 1) has me 100% the game with nearly 5 days left by the end.
Scalar set to 2, what I played, left me with 100% the game with about 3-3 and a half days left.
I'm clearly getting closer. I will set the time scalar to 2.5 and see if I get the balancing I want. Not like I have much else to do than keep running the game over and over again when all I have left achievement wise is completing all the PP trials, and most of what I have left are these grindy "Make X combo weapon 50 times" challenges. Even with me going out of my way to find parts out in the field and using the weapon locker, it is still a grind.

I called that weeks ago, even before his little outburst. Can't be bothered to look for the post, but I did say he was either a capcom shill or trying to become one at the time.
You can bet he doesn't actually care about Dead Rising 1 or the franchise as a whole if he's throwing his favorite game under the bus and willing to delete his videos like this. He's an attention whore and a hoarder, nothing more. "Cream of the crop" of the community my ass, or maybe he really is the best we've got and that's even sadder.

Edit: So apparently Neobards have some sort of connection to China?
neobards.png
Well, if that's the case then it's a no-brainer why these changes were made, aside from the obvious ESG connections.
Don't worry, tho! Crapcom are still CapGODS and Japan will save gaming! If not them, then Chinese will because they are not WOKE like the libtarded companies in the West are!
