the reason I like zombies is because of what they represent. i am bringing this up because you seem to look at it from a physical perspective, but I don't think that's how zombies should be used.

I really dont think that Dead Rising was ever about that, at least not that much. If anything, The Walking Dead or the first three Romero movies fits that description better because the walkers truly are ultimately what inevitably happens to someone if they are dead and their brains are intact.
The zombies in Dead Rising can represent many other things tho, Carlito literally compares them to Americans.

Zombies in Dead Rising are the by product of the worst of human sins like greed, wrath, desire for power. Carlito does all of this for payback against the US for Santa Cabeza and this zombies are used by a greedy company wishing to make more profits through tragedies (maintaining the cycle). Zombies are a by product of human greed, wrath and stupidity, in Dead Rising anyway.

Erotica points existed in Dead Rising 1 and OTR and it was never an issue. NEVER. I dont recall one mf complaining about it and if there was one, they were probably ignored and called "cringe". It was just something among many that could give you PP (surprised PP not being renamed at this point), it wasnt even given that much focus outside of very specific parts of DR1 (optional parts I might add). Its official, my fears were confirmed and this remaster/remake is for normies and people who dont care about what actually matters about Dead Rising, we just got our confirmation. No true fan of the series should ever be ok with it because, at worst, it was an easily ignored feature. And yes, this IS censorship, there are no ifs or buts.
