The Five Nights at Freddy's DLC was announced this tuesday. FNAF has been wanted by the DBD community for quite a while.
It should be an exciting time, but trannies are getting upset because Scott Cawthon, the creator of Five Nights at Freddy's, is known to be a conservative christian. It's the reason he got into a controversy and retired from developing any more games. Infighting has occured and apparantly it's getting to the point that this kind of announcement is needed:

OP, if you're gonna discuss hackers, I believe VoidTodos deserves a mention, as he seems to be a rather prominent figure in that side of the community. Many of his videos focus around either hacking in lobbies, or "tunneling" players from a certain demographic (I think "tunneling" means focusing exclusively on one survivor and harassing them relentlessly, but I'm not too sure cuz I don't play this piece of shit game).

I had hundreds of hours in this game but the community just got... So bad. I haven't touched it in probably a year and a half. People would camp hooked characters, survivors wouldn't help other survivors and just hide in a random spot on the map till everyone else died, survivors would kill themselves if they got hooked first. It all went down hill when they removed the hatch from the game till the end making one of the items you collect and use basically useless. The game used to be fun, even with it being repetitive, you'd meet good players who had fun, have random fuck around games with killers, everyone just seems so angry and has a unwanted cockiness that leaves a fucking horrible taste in my mouth.

The Friday the 13th game did the formula much better. If I chase someone down I want to be able to hack them to pieces with my weapon, not have to put them on a meat hook then wait for them to inevitably escape again and repeat the process ad nauseum. If you play as a survivor you're going to get people screaming at you because you don't know what you're doing and there's no way to practice offline. I regretted buying it.

Eh I think the hook system is an interesting game play mechanic. I just think it wasn't planned straight.
The real problem with this is SBMM (Skill Based Match Making) BHVR added a feature in 2022 called SBMM and nobody likes it. Back when it launched it was really weird there would be killers who go against expert Survive with friends and you would get absolutely crushed, but the next match you would go against people who just bought the game like 1 hour ago.

A lot of this shit can also be said of the destiny 2 playerbase. The DDOSing got so bad that sunsetting of paid content had to happen to disincentivize the cheating and law enforcement/the FBI had to step in and make bungie to moderate their game because the carry/recov scene is just that greedy trying to farm pinnacle weapons, which were the best guns in the game.
Couldn’t even play quickplay in crucible or PVE content without being DDOS’d during shadowkeep and if you ever try to talk about cheaters like OP does, you will be banned for “witchhunting”.
Alongside LFG being a crapshoot of idiots who just want to waste everyone’s time/be carried with zero effort in an already piss easy game or complete dickheads who want to speedrun whatever the team is doing. Which was so bad that bungie disabled death by fall damage because too many trolls would teamkill people in PVE with swords that have the “eager edge” perk. Which is a reference to halo’s energy sword.
There was also the “bungie rape victim” meme that popped up fairly recently when people found the steam account of a bungie employee during the first “into the light” event twitch livestream.
