This community (and honestly the game itself too) has always been really laughable and amazingly shallow. From The Unknown and Leatherface controversies stirring the pot, to the severe toxicity of the entire playerbase, to... now drag queens and FNAF? I can see why so many "longtime DBD" content creators are either quitting or are now on indefinite hiatus.

I'm so fucking glad I dropped this game though. Seems to be an everlasting soon-to-be trainwreck.

TL;DR Leather has free cosmetics you could earn where it's the faces of the original survivors, you earned them by sacrificing the original survivor 25 times. This includes Claudette, the negro, and some nigger faggot screamed it's racist and blackface, so instead of patching out just that mask, all had to go. There was also no reimbursement, and at the time this was the only cosmetics for Leather and some of the only free cosmetics you could earn.

It wasn't the fact that someone got offended. A couple of racist dickheads decided to target a bunch of black content creators and caused BHVR to address the situation and remove it. You're right though it is complete bullshit that they've done that.

A lot of women and fags have this really bizarre sexual fascination with serial killers, slashers and masked men. It’s also why there’s such a huge influx of pooners in the CoD fandom. I’m usually pretty good at playing armchair psychiatrist and theorizing on the origins of things like that, especially with tumblerina types, but this one has genuinely left me stumped. Most often, even if it’s completely degenerate to me, I can at least understand why they’re like this or why someone would find it appealing. The only connection I could think of was the appeal of dominant men, but beyond that I have no idea how blood and gore factor into this fantasy. And I’m not exaggerating, The DBD tag on places like ao3 is filled with absolutely fucking insane graphic snuff fantasies. Maybe I should share some of my worst finds.

Also this is information is a bit old but Voidtodos tried to fuck with a random streamer that isn't streaming but played the match anyways to fuck with them. But instead he got cucked by survivors. :story:
