They can't hold you this long without a court order. The longest they can hold someone against their will without a court order is 72-hours.
So like I said, he belong there. I think a big part of him wants to stay there and I think this is a big downside of social media is that people get big ideas in their heads to where they want to rise above their station when it just really isn't possible for them.

He has no money, no friends willing to take him in, and if he returns to his family they'll just call the cops again. He'll be walking directly from the retard home into the nearest homeless shelter.

If DBDR isn't even willing to take advice from strangers on the internet, why would he do help?
Granted, he did take help from that one guy who found him after his uncle left him stranded. Seemed like a completely normal person being a good guy though, not another internet personality. Maybe desperation will lead to him reaching out on the internet of all things.

i think hes too paranoid. hes afraid they'll doxx/blackmail him like that one tweaker "friend" of his did, along with this other guy online who went by the name of something like "dbdr reaper" who posted his doxx on all of his videos. i cant totally blame him for not trusting internet people to help him out IRL. taking advice from them is one thing, linking up with them is another. and knowing DBDR, things would end up going south eventually.

if my memory serves me correct i believe Eggy offered to let him stay at his place back when he was in Iowa and living in his car lol. two BP rapper truck drivers living together, could've been interesting. and while talking about Eggy, he is someone who managed to leverage his popularity, in a very similar sphere of the internet, to his benefit. it came with some downsides, like women who humiliated him and other crazy situations, but he managed to get friends and girlfriends out of it, a good income from streaming + other avenues like selling merch, and lots of cool experiences like doing live shows and appearing in a movie. you'd think DBDR could do the same with his relatively similar level of popularity, but i dont think he'd take that risk, being more paranoid and reserved versus Eggy who is more outgoing and upbeat. it definitely would be a big risk to put himself out there, especially considering some of the psychos who exist among his viewer base, fans and haters alike.

I don't know how long you've been listening to him, but he has a very long history of being naive and gullible, probably due to undiagnosed autism.
