If I recall (I've watched this clown long before I discovered the farms), it was actually a group of his players that were uncomfortable with his aggressive proselytizing, and complained to the principal, who told Dave to cut that shit out. He screamed persecution of course, but got fired when he refused to stop. He tried to get another coaching job a few years ago, but several atheist/secular groups emailed the school district with links to his history, and the district wisely decided they didn't want to hire someone who would get them sued.

ETA: despite the meme, not all trannies, and not all of any one group can be classed as lolcows. Except for France, France is a lolcow.

Like a lot of people who claim to revere the Constitution, he has a poor grasp of constitutional, criminal, and civil law. Maybe people are under the delusion that rights are absolute, and they are not. Your right to free speech and to protest ends when you're on my property. I am not required to give you a venue for your political opinions.
 
Haha this guy, I'd almost forgotten about him. I think what makes Coach funny is he does bother to put himself out there on the internet and try to argue and interact. There are tons of people just as crazy as he is and just as hateful but they keep it IRL or just spit bullshit to their friends on Facebook. Even if they do espouse their views to the public online their antics just devolve into quoting the bible at people who disagree, or just ignoring the arguement and going into robot preaching mode.... which isn't terribly funny.

These guys are such dinguses because they talk about free speech but then try to limit other people's speech. In that regard, Coach Dave is very similar to our good friend The Vigilant Christian.
