I hear this a lot but I don't believe it. I think Phil honestly thinks he's gonna blow up and get big any day now after a tweet or something viral.

He legit thinks he does a hard job and he fucking NAILS it every stream. It's the damn detractors causing "Behind the Scenes" drama and messing in his affairs.

There's a part of him that knows he was a nobody in the FGC and is a washed up streamer but he just chalks those thoughts up to doubt and pushes them to the back of his mind.

Phil doesn't want to get big and popular, you can see that in the way he acted when he was raided on twitch (stops talking, continues stalling, ignoring the new people etc). And if Phil did get big and popular then he might actually get in trouble with some of the stuff he has said. Right now he is an abject failure and there is no reason to target him. Phil just wants to be respected and considered a master at his craft.

I believe he really thinks any day now he's going to be picked up by a big media company to be the the wise OG game-streaming veteran. Every day seems like a tryout with the 90-minute prestreams.

He really never fails to amaze me. He has to realize at some point that throwing huge amounts of money (or even money at all) at streamers is already a giant red flag when it comes to the mental well being of the person who does that.
We know the state of his paypiggies. Mental issues, Derich, literal wheelchairs, bankruptcy. Do I need to go on?

His paying audience is not that far away from being "children" in the sense of how exploitable they are. You can be an adult, but still be retarded like a child. He is guilty of what he condemns.

He is peak smooth brain. It's like last night when he thought "trolls will seethe that Phil only has to wear the Platinum best for a few minutes." We literally don't care. It's funny to watch Phil whore himself out. It's funny to watch him rage about literally nothing like his opinion matters.

At the time, it was forcing that douche to wear a vest he hated. That is the point though. We have moved on. OiC has not.
