I'll admit, that section also got me stuck for a bit because I missed the instructions on how to dive bomb. Thankfully, I was able able to figure it out eventually.

Is Phil incapable at reading on screen instructions, he is literally told what to buy and still fucks it up.

The characters are verbally telling him what to buy. FOR FUCKS SAKE!

This right here is what truly annoys me about Phil. He has a 50+ inch TV, has been playing video games his entire life and he still can't read on screen instructions. *SIGH*

Maybe Phil has something like dyslexia where it makes it hard to read so he needs extra time to read instructions so he just doesn't bother.
He guy who suggested the learning disablity very well may be right.

I'm sorry if someone has posted this but.

I can't understand why DSP calls Fallout 3 "long", I started replaying Fallout 3 about seven days ago and I just finished the main quest.

Well, I watched his infamous Duck Tales RAGE video (which isn't a rage in the first place), and God, it's painful.

Some videos in response to that:

And... his final video about the playthrough, featuring him trying to be funny with the ending:

Duck Tales! Woo hoo!

Damn, that game looks pretty fun. I might actually have to play it eventually.

Same here. I'm getting interested of the game now.

It's been ruined for me. If I ever played it, I'd just hear Phil's horrible voice yelling in my head.

Re: DarksydePhil (DSP for short)

I recently thought about his Duke Nukem Forever review and it left me wondering, did he give it a positive score because it suited his immature humor and because it was a very generic first person shooter that doesn't require thinking which means it's perfect for him, or did he give it a positive review just to be controversial and get more views?

Considering his MGS1 videos, it really could go either way.

Didn't he say that his favorite game was Earthbound though? I never played it, but I imagine that game would require some amount of thinking.

Earthbound is a turn-based RPG so yeah, thinking is required. Despite not having an interest in seeing any of his videos, I do honestly wonder though, is it going to be like Metal Gear Solid where he relies on a live-stream walkthrough or is he going to think the guy behind it is a jerk like Kojima.

He said he played it as a kid, which I can't decide if I believe or not. I imagine if he did play it as a kid, he probably had the strategy guide open on his lap the entire run through. Granted, Earthbound does have a ton of stupidly arbitrary event flags. Someone else can watch that video, I have zero interest in listening to him make jokes about Poo's name and act like he's the fucking pinnacle of humor.

"LOOK, HIS NAME'S POO. THAT'S REALLY HIS NAME." *insert buffoonish laughter here* "SERIOUSLY, POO?"

Just an announcement: I just listened to the latest Retsutalk, and slowbeef said 'DSP in real life' should be dropping later this week.

Popcorn! Geeetcha popcorn!

I'll take a whole bowl of popcorn good sir with butter.

Sadly, (or perhaps happily, depending on your viewpoint) his PS3 died partway through the game and he lost his save. One of his fans, however, is supposedly speed running through the game all the way up to the point DSP was at and is going to send him the save file.

Are you serious? Who wants to bet that DSP will rage because the save doesn't have his exact stats he previously had?

He will, and it'll be one more person who swears off Phil forever. He really does treat his fans like crap, and it's not going to be long before he doesn't have any.

Considering how he acted in some of his videos such as his Dark Souls play-through, that would be a likely outcome. By acting like this he not only alienates his fan-base but he also destroys much of his income from the videos.

Not to mention the MASSIVE hatedom he's gotten. He's hitting Irate Gamer levels of hatred here. Hell, just look at his TV Tropes page. It's full of subtle and not-so-subtle jabs.

EDIT: Oh, wow. I just noticed a comment on the DSP video saying that he's trying to ignore all the hate videos and telling his fans to do the same. He's calling it DSPositive.
