Phil is a whiner now. His MGS videos are the worst. In those videos he takes an outrageous amount of time trying to figure out how to do things when the game clearly explains it in codec calls, etc. He kind of reminds me of the Irate Gamer when Bores says in his videos "Who wants to read the instruction manuals, I just gotta play the game!" (not an exact quote). If you are going to make gaming videos you should, I don't know, learn how to play the game? His videos aren't that really good anymore. I watched his Heavy Rain playthrough and I thought it was far better than what he's uploading now. I just hate the way he treats his fanbase like they are all mindless kids who know nothing. :P
I've been watching EvilAJ's "This is how you don't play MGS" which is just a montage of Phil playing MGS and the comments are shown that are from his fans. And ive been watching BrockHeinz and the videos talk about Phil's vlogs

That's pretty much his fanbase now; kids and mindless white knights. The kind of people who don't know how to spell LP Archive.

So whining in your videos is the appeal for this channel? If that's the case, he might as well call himself DarkWhinePhil now. :roll:
 

It's a little long and he doesn't actually start until about 30 minutes in, but overall, I'm not really convinced. All I hear is hypocrisy and playing the victim, especially when you see his other videos.

Okay, I didn't know about the back problems. My dad had that same issue twice, and both times it nearly crippled him. While I don't doubt he's probably playing it up for sympathy, it is something that causes chronic pain. Maybe that's why he's such an asshole.
 
We may have to keep an eye on the twitter feeds to see his reaction. Should be priceless. When he initially got retsupuraed, he almost started a war with Something Awful. It'll be amusing if he actually goes through with it.

I feel like he might. You remember the shitstorm that hit when they did the PewDiePie video? That was after PewDiePie told his fans not to go crazy. I doubt Phil will have the same courtesy.

Is Phil incapable at reading on screen instructions, he is literally told what to buy and still fucks it up.
