I don't even fully understand how bail works honestly. If they are found not guilty does he get some compensation for being put in jail?

Whoever put up the bond gets that money back but no, you don't get compensated for spending time in jail if you can't afford bail.

However if you do anything to violate the bond conditions while you're out you forfeit the money and go to jail until your trial is concluded.

If he posts 100% bail, he'll get it back regardless of the verdict if he shows up to court. If he can't afford bail, he can go to a bail bondsman and pay some percentage of the bail to the bondsman who puts up the rest. He doesn't get the money he paid the bondsman back.
You don't usually get compensated for the time you spend in jail if found innocent unless there was some sort of reckless disregard by law enforcement. For example, if the police had surveillance footage of a 6'6" black man committing the crime and then arrest a 5'6" Mexican for it. There's no doubt as to Chud's involvement in this, so he's not going to be compensated for anything. Maybe he can hope for the Nobel Peace Prize in 26 years.

Honestly in situations like that, it's better not to get involved. They have nothing to lose, so getting arrested is not much of a deterrent. If you try anything, don't expect anyone to help you.

And yes, I learned that the hard way because again, I'm a retard.

A lot of young men in the US discovered Orthodoxy through the internet in the past few years and it is not the desirable type either. Now of course, a church is for sinners so you would think there wouldn’t be a big issue with this, except for the fact that they want Orthodoxy to fit their worldview rather than their worldview fitting Orthodoxy. They for whatever reason believe that Orthodoxy is the heckin based TND kill all faggots kill all troons religion when that’s just not the case. Now I am not Orthodox, but Orthobros are a certain group of turbo-faggots that I think anyone would notice in the wild because they are obnoxious and loud and incredibly delusional to the point that they believe themselves to be more Orthodox than the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. There’s a similar problem in the Catholic Church right now with “radtrads” as they’re called who believe themselves to be more catholic than the Pope.
