Who is the civilized man in this scenario? One person instigated the confrontation and killed another (unarmed) with a firearm. The other didn’t - lol.
 
It’s been a while, but I do remember the fighting words doctrine and unless he appeals all the way to the Supreme Court to get that overturned, I think he’s screwed.
