Forgive me if this has already been posted, but someone has uploaded the entire Cool Cat movie to YouTube. If you haven't seen it yet, now's your chance.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=qxI9dvMw_6AIronic that after throwing such a shit fit over copyright infringement vs fair use, Derek hasn't done anything when someone is legitimately breaking copyright law.
I get the feeling that for all the shit he boast on about, he has no legit idea how YT copyright law works. Or maybe he doesn't give a shit. Or both, anything's possible.

Either way, you'd figure he'd have caught on by now.

I know I'm late on this but is it just me or the menu music sound exactly like Sims music? Until the vocals kick in of course.

The menu music sounds like something you'd hear at a cult meeting.

Surprised it took him this long. But damn. Does that mean he'll be going after the reviews again/make part 2 to that copyright video?
Daddy Derek did have the right to take down the full movie, as it was a legit case of copyright infringement. Sad to see it go, but at least he wasn't being an annoying idiot this time around.
If he were to go after videos again, I think it'd be Cool Cat YouTube Poops since he lost against reviewers but (probably) still doesn't fully understand fair use.

The brief moment of it being up at least finally gave me a chance to watch it. While I don't think it's the most cringeworthy thing I have seen, I feel like it says a lot about Derek himself. Just like Sonichu gives you a small look into Chris' brain, so does Cool Cat give you that for Derek.
I wouldn't even be surprised, if he was trying to advertise what a good dad he'd be, because look at how famous he is and how good he takes care of his "son" Cool Cat and how splendidly he treats his "wife"!

But I also noticed how he tried his best to "act normal" when acting around Cool Cat and Momma Cat. When getting Cool Cat from any place, he repeats himself several times. "Go on in Cool Cat. Momma Cat's waiting. Go on in." or even at the hollywood part where they get into the car, he makes comments to every flaw of the scene, in an attempt to make it feel more natural. "It was locked for safety purposes." or "Watch your tail buddy!" Everything Derek does in this movie is just extremely awkward.
Even Cool Cat, a guy in a huge, wierd Fursuit who forgets his lines and comes over as a creepy pedo has a better actor behind him, who genuinely seems to be trying to go along with what Derek is telling him to do. (Thought this kind of goes for any actor in Cool Cat. Only exception is backwards walking man. He's just plain talented.)

Oh I am aware that was legit copyright infringement. I'm just shocked he didn't go after that sooner.

I noticed that too, even if I never saw the full thing (still haven't). But Derek just seems to acting rather odd compared to everyone else for whatever reason. And it give me the creeps whenever I see it. It's like he knows he's fucking up in every scene in technical aspects, so he ad-libs to try and cover that up.

And frankly, that draws even more attention to the poor quality than if he didn't.

How did it get funded and how did he get the famous people in it?

That's the thing I belive nobody really knows for certain.

My personal belief is that the movie itself was shot as cheaply as possible as evidenced by the horrible audio quality and the fact that it was poobably filmed on one of Daddy's digital 1080p cameras he used to record the Copyright video. The Cool Cat Fursuit/Murrsuit/costume is cheap as all fuck and he only has one of them (combining shots where "mother" and "son" are in frame at the same time).

How he got Estrada and Fox though... I can only speculate that he either knows them personally as he apparently worked behind camera in actual production stuff that wasn't handled by him and they were humoring him, or he was cashing in favors with them because he helped them move or something. Who knows.

It was probably all payed for by himself though. He looks and acts like the kind of guy that is so convinced by their own abilites that he took his savings and used them for his pet project.

He can't do that again because he's probably basically broke and that's why he started the e-begging campaign.

Also he's suddenly up to 3.311 followers. That's 730 followers in ~23 hours for a man who is pretty much nobody in social media without any notable happenings having... well happened. :story:
