Are guns just lying on the ground a really common thing in America or something? Common enough where you need to make a whole PSA about it?
Not sure if that's an actual question or not, but no, it isn't at all. God knows why this guy is so obsessed with finding guns on the ground. In fact, in the off-chance that somebody just left their pistol on the ground, I would think an adult would have snatched it up before a kid did.

It looks like a crappy attempt of trying to imitate a Dr. Seuss book cover.

Please tell he drew this himself. Just tell me...
Is it me... is everything dis-portioned?

The tiny arms and the giant head with the gaping mouth is really creepy. It would look better if Cool Cat was drawn in a more cartoony style to look "cuter". This just looks really weird and unsettling.

Has any kid ever actually just found a random gun in their backyard?

What is daddy derek doing that would result in gun being in the backyard? My money is that it to with drug dealing or he is in one of/involved with the L.A gangs.

I sure haven't. Usually they'd be hidden in pretty mundane places like a bedroom dresser or a closet, but never out in the open.
But those PSAs would awkwardly invoke the question as to why the parent left the gun in such an easily accessible place, and that sort of questioning is not what our NRA overlords want.

Can't stop here, this is Cool Cat Country.

The only thing I remember seeing was a bullet on my school's floor, but that was it. No guns or anything. Plus with the cool Cat Movie. How in the hell is a gun gonna materialise in a backyard? It would be better if it was found... let's say in one of the random kid's parent's room or something? Butch finding it in his folk's house? It makes no sense whatsoever.

On a side note. The Candy Drama in the movie was by far the most stupidest thing ever.

I just want to come in and clarify this, since this point got glazed over. But yes, guns are in fact just laying around all over the ground in America. They actually hover just a few inches off the ground, slowly spin around, and emit a faint colored light so passersby know that they can pick them up and use them. Same with bulletproof vests and red crosses.

At least, that's how Derek sees America.

Is it true that in America you run faster when you're holding a knife?
