I actually have a school picture like the upper left one. Right before it was picture time some kid told me I have show too much gum when I smile and compared me to a chimpanzee. So come picture time I didn't want to risk showing my gums. My mother was quite unhappy when the pictures came in.

Chris is just doing it though because he has a hard time smiling properly. Like in that Lego stack picture.

Speaking of the Lego stack, given how much soda Chris drinks and all the large cups of sodas he has in his pictures, that's probably a real Pepsi can. I think they were still using that style in '97.

I think that's a late 70s/early 80s Pepsi can promotional bank that he or Barb got at Goodwill, since they used a can like this in 1997 (however, the style shown was used outside North America in 1997)

The dingy walls and bare fluorescent light makes it look like he's in a garage. I like these pictures, because there are so many little things to find. There's a phone next to the TV, which is kind of a weird place to put it. You can see a clown doll on the right side, too (though it doesn't look like the one from the videos, so he's had more than one?). I'm also curious about the computer and why he put a mushroom sticker on it. I searched around but couldn't find anything exactly like it.

I also see Izzy, the 1996 Olympic Mascot on the right side too. (The lil blue guy with the bug eyes). I had one. I'd put him on display on my shelf if he wasn't in storage.

What's on the clock? The toy computer looks like it has a hinge on it? May e it's an action figure case.

That pic of Chris-chan with the Legos looks more like Chesterfield or Midlothian than Ruckersville to me (does not look like it was taken inside 14BC), and that World of Nintendo poster could be worth something if it's still in good shape (tho I doubt CWC and Bob kept it and a lot of the other stuff when they moved back to Ruckersville)

Actually, you're right. It's not something I recognize, and the picture's fuzzy, so I thought it was a clown.

The clock is

.
The clown doll looks quite a bit different, thought it was another clown doll... but it is Izzy.

I'm still curious on the story behind the 2nd one on the top row.
What could have made him so unhappy that he couldn't even force a smile for the camera?

:briefs: ?

Nah, he probably doesn't care. Hell, probably makes him smile.

Yeah, if it was during his high school years, there's a good chance it was taken in Richmond area, rather than Ruckersville.

That might mean that Bob was the one who thought Chris was precious with his Legos. That or whenever he demands a picture of his non-accomplishments they complied.

Any idea what that poster behind the lamp might be? I can't make it out because only a little is showing.

Here's what an Izzy plushie looks like up close (found today at Goodwill and officially my first Relic of Fail duplicate), I'm sure this (12-inch by Dakin) is the same thing Chris-chan had in that pic with the Legos and Pepsi can.

Note bedbug-, DIRTY CRAPPED BRIEFS-, Sonichu- and navy stain-free environment and considerably deeper reading material than Goosebumps in background.
