It's understandable. I mean, Chris LOOKS like he's pushing 50.

But why would he want the kids meal exactly? My experience with the personal pizzas comes from Book-It (I bet that's not around anymore, or at least the reward at any rate), and I don't remember getting a toy ever. Which means that Chris doesn't have an excuse to demand a kids meal like at BK or McDonald's or wherever.sparklemilhouse said:^the zig zag cup on the table? That's from Pizza Hut circa the 1990s. Usually came with the kids meal. Which means Chris was still getting the kids meal in high school.
Pizza Hut and Book-It are still connected IIRC, and I think Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell offered a Sonic cup topper in the early 90s, so he probably got that cup along with a Sonic the Hedgehog cup topper. I used to have a few Star Wars cup toppers from 1999 or so and think I remember a Sonic cup topper from my childhood.MysticMisty said:But why would he want the kids meal exactly? I find that to be really surprising, considering the shit storm fast food is getting these days, let alone junk food in general.Stratochu said:Pizza Hut and Book-It are still connected IIRCMysticMisty said:But why would he want the kids meal exactly? Pizza hut isn't exactly the worst thing you can feed to a child.MysticMisty said:I find that to be really surprising, considering the shit storm fast food is getting these days, let alone junk food in general.
I think I've seen a few themed cups, but aside from the Land Before Time puppets (which were purchased separately from the meal) I don't really know or remember Pizza Hut giving out toys. I wouldn't consider a cup topper a toy.
When did he stay at this hotel? Which of his travels (among the few he made) was this?sparklemilhouse said:!

I almost reserved this holiday inn for my trip last week. Thank god I chose a place in glen allen instead.

no, that's the sensory defensiveness. Either that, or he got a $5 watch and it rusted.Iä! Iä! said:He's so skinny, he even has to wear his watch over his sleeve to keep everything in place.

duckduckgoose said:Ya, that was the convention that he went to. I have always thought that he looked the most "normal" here (in Chris' terms). Like the poster said above, his weight is average, without the pedo glasses, his face is a typical young adult (the massive zits came later).
It makes me sad that he could have had a better life had he chosen a different path.
