Despite Stephen King being a massive liberal (or maybe because of it?), he tells a ton of racist jokes in his books.

He used to be an old school lib before liberal meant lib tard. His raging case tds and desperation to stay relevant with readers older than he is or where teenagers themselves when he was in his heyday has really taken a toll on him, but we already have a king thread for that

This makes me sad. I idolized Steven King growing up. He was by far my favourite 'pop fiction' writer when I was a teenager, mostly because he could tell a story so goddamn WELL that you can't help but be sucked into it. I am also an extremely fast reader, so the fact that most of his books are like 900+ pages never bothered me. The pre-teen fuck scene where Beverly pulls a train on the boys in 'It' DID somewhat shock me, as I am sure it was ment to, but it didn't come off gratuitous the way Piers Anthony's pedo mentions did.

Now THAT motherfucker always worked pedophelia into his books; more subtly but still very obvious in his famous Xanth novels but mostly as panty shot jokes and relatively tame but creepy throwins, however it's completely fucking in your face no apologies at all in the 'Bio of a Space Tyrant' books where the main characters mother and preteen sister were raped by space pirates more times then I can count in the first book alone, and tells the story of a child prostitute somewhere in there as well in very graphic detail, and there pretty much isn't a single book where a kid's not being fucked or perv'ed on that the motherfucker's ever written. The replacement for Satan in the "Incarnations of Immortality" book about the Incarnation of Evil is given the job because he's the most evil person on earth currently after the current Satan surrendered the job, explained in lip-smacking detail about getting the job offer while rape-murdering a little girl. THERE'S a guy who needs to have cancel culture dropping the hammer on, not Steven King!
