"Influencer". It makes me hopping mad that people can become millionaires by posting selfies on Instagram while using promoted brands, while I'm still at my workaday job.

“[X thing] is everything” is one those phrases Zillennials use that make them sound like children who shouldn’t be on the internet.

People saying that this COVID shite won't be forever and we'll be back to normal (insert date or year here) is really grating especially when politicians seem to be having their wet dreams come true by enforcing totalitarian laws by enforcing lockdowns constantly and hurting the economy and population.

Having to walk on eggshells about saying "happy holidays" to clients. If one of them wishes me a merry Christmas/happy Hanukkah/super Solstice/whatever I'll wish them the same right back. Fuck trying to appease woketard grinches this time of year.

For an instructional video every student group had to watch at my uni, one of the heads of the student union kept rambling about how we don't say "Christmas Celebrations" because not everybody celebrates it. Mind you, this is in the UK where almost everybody celebrates it.

"Our Democracy/Republic"

I hate this damn term especially with elections because the people who use this term think they are god damn freedom fighters trying to save the country from the government when they're more likely to be losers on a keyboard doing jack and shit.

"Stay Tuned"

People use this as a way to drum people up for some exciting stuff then it turns out to be as exciting as a wet fart. Just drop the damn stuff already and not be a faggot about it.

"New Normal"

Fuck off, Lockdowns suck dick and they shouldn't be normalized at all.

"Poggers/Pog/Pogchamp"

This shit is just annoying at this point and anyone who says this needs to get punched in the face.

Latinx.

@God is a Serb it's funny how Diwali's always Diwali, Hannukah's always Hannukah and Eid's always Eid, but Christmas magically becomes ”holidays”.

I keep hearing "chud" more and more and its becoming a bit annoying
Yeah, but it gets really funny when you realize it's actually a racial slur.

Finnish guy weighing in:
Chud, or tšuhna, is an anti-Finnish slur that Russians use - the original Chuds were Mordvins and since both Finns and Mordvins are Finno-Ugric peoples the tern became used by Russians. In Finnish we use it when we're making fun of some Russians' supremacist attitude towards Finns.

I'm just saying this because it's funny to watch self-declared anti-racists throw around ethnic slurs as insults.

I passionately despise AFAB or AMAB.

It’s like the doctor randomly draws either female or male out of a hat, and puts in on your birth certificate.

Your sex is determined at conception, fucking tards.

Autistic as shit, but "surge" is so grating because for some reason it's the go-to word to describe muh increase in daily COVID cases. Never "spike" or anything, ALWAYS "surge". Seriously, plug "COVID - "surge"" into Google news and you'll only get local outlets and the like.

The term "LGBTQ+" now that they expanded the acronym with other stuff.

Especially since the community is being isolated by the T part and "pansexuals." It feels like being a lesbian, gay or bi is haram if you are not a walking sterotype.

I don't know why or when but when people put pronouns in their Twitter bio or literally everywhere. For an inclusive community, they love to label and categorize themselves.

Weirdly enough, the alphabet abbreviation doesn't annoy me nearly as much as "queer" does. Probably because it's basically an obnoxious buzzword now.

Oddly, "surge" kind of entered the modern vocabulary discussing troop placement in Iraq and Afghanistan. I guess "deployment" was too icky or had some other nasty connotation. At any rate, one of those annoying Bush-isms.

To that bit of COVID-speak ("surge") I would also add

  • " Pause." No, you're fucking CANCELLING or CLOSING that shit.
  • "Guidelines." No, you can go to prison if you don't do what the iron fist in your face demands that you do, Whatever else it is, it is no "guideline."
"in minecraft"

I've only ever heard that here on KF, which means it is the height of le epic edgy humor, like "troon" or "a-logging." Seriously, though, I personally think it is kind of funny, at least for now. (No clue if any of that actually originated here; I guess I lead a bit of a sheltered existence.)

Six months from now, though...🤔
