They recast Lo Wang as someone who didn't fit the character because he was played by a white man. This is likely why the game was delayed.

If they wanted to not offend the Asians they should just get rid of the Asian stereotype game starring the half Chinese half Japanese ninja man named because a Chinese name means penis in English. This is just a token gesture that makes the game worse.

The SNES-style censorship fits the graphics well.
 
Being able to pick up Pocky and Rocky without the need for surrendering your arm and leg is worth it on it's own.

There's no regional standards for versions at this point they're all global when it comes to content like that. Similar reasons why Nintendo pulled down Duel Princess from the E-shop worldwide. They didn't allow one region to differ over another.

The standards for sexual content are getting pretty homogenized.
 
There was no further info concerning the Duel Princess getting pulled off the eshop. Could have been a rating issue paperwork (especially if qureate planned to go for IARC afterwards) or something else (such as a VA dispute since it got pulled off the japanese eshop firstmost). They did say in the japanese tweet they would resume distribution at a later date anyway:

Up to be seen if there will be visual changes once it goes back up. And unless Nintendo were to actually go against the Switch releases of Moero Seven Pirates H (this month) and Gal*Gun Double Peace (in April), I'd recommend at least to stay put before "celebrating" yet.

I know it's Marissa Moira after all, the pathetic Sony fanboy who really wants every platform down to Playstation level so that nobody can make fun of him and his precious Sony anymore.

Both China and Japan have increased legislation against sexual imagery in media. I mean at this point if your last hope for sexual release is a company most known for making children's games, your crusty castle of cum may have been built upon a pile of sand.

They had an indigenous month a while ago, and that was mostly black Americans. I really hate how BLM has turned everything into a matter of two skin tones, nothing else.

I came here to post this, Devolver cucked out, I don't think Flying Wild Hog was the ones forcing this decision on their own game. I've posted in the past that it was surprising that Shadow Warrior didn't get hit with the SJW nonsense for having white guys voicing asians.

They seemed to have so much recorded already, here's a bunch of stuff from 2020 with the old voice actor everyone likes.
Hoji is still voiced by the same guy at least.

I could have sworn that was what Otherkin was for the longest time. They identified as Orcs, Elves, Unicorns, etc.
