I remember one film that I think deserves a cult classic status: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0183641/?ref_=nm_knf_c_1

Pearls Before Swine (1999)

The movie is only as hilarious as it's utter crap. Boyd Rice is a lolcow of the post-punk niche hinself - an edgy neo-nazi Satanist BDSM enthusiast, and a serial wife\girlfriend-beater. His "performance" is definitely adds to the film's cringe, but it's not without some merit. It features familiar tracks from Der Blutharsch and a cameo appearnce of David Pearce (an open neo-nazi homo) ... and may be a few more fun references to the neofolk \ experimental industrial crowd. Had it not been for this edge bringing together these familiar artists, it would not be as notable.

I used to listen to this shit as an edgy teenager. If you look deeper into and into the filmography of Wolstencroft and the actors who starred in the movie you can find a treasure trove of difficult to find aussie Z-movies.

I was thinking of other divisive movies, that some might consider utter shit and others will love them to death.

Spun was directed by a black metal musician, his first movie i think, all he did before were music videos and it shows. It definitely has a "style". Same guy that directed Smack my bitch up video by The Prodigy and Metallica's Whisky in the Jar

Vampire's Kiss is probably Nicholas Cage's best movie imo, it has a great but concept. The movie is most famoulsy known for THE Nic Cage meme face, you know the one, and its actually a funny scene in context.
