What are they going to do? Put cigars on a trebuchet and lob them at us?
If being extremely generous, the point of knowing where the air bases are is to have the air defenses directed towards them.

Brave of you to assume that they will have enough power to fuel their radars.

I'm going with prepare for the worst and hope for the best. In conjunction with the USN and USMC want to be part of the party and ain't gonna let the USAF have all of the fun tea bagging Cuba.

Unlike the air bases which are fixed known locations to the Cubans. The CVN is not tied down to one spot and thus the Cubans will not know where the USN and USMC aircraft will be coming from.
Another thing is if placed south of Cuba it'll allow the F-18s and F-35s to do laps over Cuba by landing and rearming then bombing Cuba again on the way back to Florida and also recovering any damaged aircraft

Dude. Adding an entire, new, 90% Republican state would be fucking hilarious and would turn America red for the next 50 years
I mean, they're still spics and black spics. Corruption and crime are inevitable. But maybe less child drag queens and muslim worship?
I was under the impression it was mostly moderately well-off people who fled when Fidel took power? It would make sense, at least. No one likes having their shit taken away, regardless of whether or not they deserve it.
I wasn't talking about the people who fles when Fidel took power, but the people who have been grounding under communist boots for decades. Look at Germany for a comparison of attitudes. That said, we aren't disagreeing. It is the small business owner, the farmer, the hard-working family man whom communists most despise.

Internet communists seem like a distinct species from the malevolent "intellectuals" like Lenin and Trotsky, but they really aren't, except that they're pussies and have worse fashion sense. It's the same lolcow tier Dunning Krueger.

So, how long till Marco Rubio marches on the Bay of Pigs like MacArthur returning to the Philippines?
I hope Rubio has his El Presidente gear pressed, washed and ready. Rubio won't be the Shah, won't be Delcy Rodriguez, but Tropico 6 will enter reality before the release of GTA6.

Guantanamo Bay will ease things for El Jefé, El Presidente, Líder Máximo Rubio a bit.

Those consoles they are sitting in front of look fake as shit! LOL.

S-125 is an SA3, BTW. 1960s technology.
Apropos of that to a degree, I wonder if Cuba has any TU-141s. That was a 1970s Soviet surveillance drone. Ukraine repressed one or more in December '22 to attack Engel's Airbase deep in Russia. I hope anyhow any archaic Soviet gear is spared.

Venezuela is basically ruled from a Marriot Hotel in Caracas. Various billionaires sniffing after privatization join Marines and US officials there. The actual US Embassy is bug infested from been closed for some years and is being fumigated. Delcy Rodríguez has to look after the detailed stuff. Cuba is in a much more miserable state. Unlike other Communist states like China and Vietnam, it failed to update in any serious fashion. Cuba is apparently run for the benefit of a military conglomerate GAESA which controls up to 70% of the economy from gas stations to hotels (the actual government is left the dross). Headed by one Brig. Gen. Ania Guillermina Lastres Morero who's connected to Raúl's grandson Raúl Guillermo Rodríguez Castro, who thanks to his family is a sort of Prince of the Blood. It was created by Raúl Castro himself in the 1990s. If the Cuban Military is neutered and Castro arrested, GAESA might be pulled apart, unless it's an actual effective operation that could prove useful to any US presence. Trump has got a reputation for empty threats (Iran), but carries them out when the opportunity is clear. Maduro certainly found out. This will be interesting indeed.
Look who mentioned GAESA today.

GAESA is sitting on $18 billion of assets, but NOT ONE CENT goes to the people of Cuba.

So even if they had all the diesel in the world, they wouldn’t have better energy because they’ve stolen the money and haven’t reinvested it in their energy infrastructure.

Raul Castro openly admits and brags about giving orders to shoot down civilian airplanes.

I'm not going to talk about how we're going to get him here.
Why would I say to the media? If there's an announcement, I'll tell you afterwards, not before.

Well, well, well.

Wonder how much of that aid is contingent on Lasso the Castro

Headline tomorrow: Raul Castro bans churros from country, believing their role in Maduro's capture was "paramount".

We're prepping plans for military action in Cuba. Between the indictment of Raul Castro, a carrier group showing up in theater, and now this, it's starting to remind me of the lead up to the churroing of Maduro.
This is as close to a sure bet as anything could be. I will DOUBLE THE CLOWN if I'm wrong that we perform the Cuba Libre maneuver soon. I would say within the next few months.

If I'm right though, the clown show ends and I return to Frieza.

Rubio might be thirsting after a Líder Máximo posting in the land of his ancestors, now that he cannot be Shah-an-Shah of the Persians, but Raúl's sanctions buster and self funder of the military is wealthy when the rest of the island is unnecessarily dirt poor. It seems something that should be picked apart. The island would spring into life without the communist parasites, which means I hope a Venezuela type arrangement that keeps the old system in place isn't followed. Perhaps tho, the aid offer will result in a slow strangulation of the communist regime.

A month is too soon. Trust me, I started the Venezuela thread and had to wait four months before the churroing. That's why I've been saying August for awhile.

Cuba is not going to be able to wait us out or buy time.

As I said in the context of Iran, President Trump's preference is always a negotiated agreement that's peaceful... with Cuba, the likelihood of that happening is not high.

Well then I'll amend it, since we haven't even gotten in. I'll even change my title to something funny.
