No.

The Captain knows someone Chris has met in real life who became concerned about Chris, but Chris wouldn't say much about it. Captain was the one who had bought Chris's class ring and wanting to know more told Chris the thing said he was in trouble during the night. Chris believed this and opened up. The Captain realized the extend of the trolling was criminal in nature and then alerted Marvin and I basically like this.

Unrelated, but when Chris first started messaging me he said that Stan Smith from American Dad said I was somehow affiliated with the FBI/CIA, which I think is entirely his head canon. If you wonder why I'm a big softy with Chris, there's a good example.
My heart has grown three sizes tonight.

If it’s so blatant then why did Null get a response back from the Greene County Sheriff saying he won’t do anything and it was Chris’s choice to do the things he did?

I’d like it to be an open and shut case but from the responses Null got it doesn’t sound like it’s as simple as that.
It's not, for starters, I hate to say this but people know Chris or they do a simple Internet search and there he is. Their run-ins with the law have probably left the Chandlers fucked for things that are not immediate dangers. I'm not being A-loggy, but the doxxing is the best thing that will come from this. I wonder if the powers that be are aware about Chris' pattern of constantly being the victim or victimizing others. Before people get butthurt, it's been proven that Chris has been the aggressor in a lot of situations. That doesn't make victimizing him right, but it does paint an offputting picture that authorities are probably tired of dealing with.
The takeaway from this is that Chris always puts himself or allows himself to be put in these situations.

Shit 6k is alot of money for anyone, even for someone comfortable. Yeah Bill Gates might not miss it but 6k is a few months work for most people.
6k is a good amount of money, for sure, but from a perspective of the FBI and federal investigations, it's peanuts.

Well, for starters, we keep going around in circles about Chris' mental competancy. One person acts like he's normal like messiah Obama of Ejaculatoria while another person acts like he's damaged, and we keep arguing about it back and forth with no change or resolution. In between, there's some name calling and jokes, but it's just become exhausting.

I don't think here is the place to expect any kind of resolution. Any assessment of Chris's needs/suitability for any kind of services is going to be done by professionals in the real world and there's not a lot we can do to get that ball rolling.

It's always complete retards that get lucky in life. Most people who win the lottery blow the money in a year or two.

Wise figured out how to get past Chris' guard and instead of doing something that would benefit everyone (such as finally ending the Tomgirl saga), he decides to roleplay as an animu girl torturing a rosechu and have Chris beg him/her to stop doing it.

It's not even funny. Then they extort Chris out of 6 grand he needs only to waste it on vidya for themselves.

Wise and Boyd should consider suicide as a future career option. This was the best they could ever achieve and it's fucking pathetic.

The authorities probably just ignore anything having to do with the Chandlers because of the solid decade of weeeeeeeeening they've gotten. Everyone from the town dogcatcher on up through the governor has gotten calls about the meth lab at 14BC, the illegal dogfighting ring, the dead octogenarian, the family of illegal immigrants living in the attic, the cat up the tree, the man up the tree, the unregistered automobiles, the unregistered cats, the child abuse, the elder abuse, the SSI fraud, the SSDI fraud, the parking placard fraud, the property taxes, the state taxes, the federal taxes, and on and on. Also, they'd like you to know that no one named "Julie" works for them, so stop asking for her.

Or all the crap they've been through on their own account within the system.

Chris would have to be dragged kicking and screaming, currently, to be put in a home. I also don't see Chris leaving 14BC without kicking and screaming. Change is something even neurotypicals have trouble with. I think that life will slog by, in the musty and unstable rut it's been in, mostly unchanged for our Chandlers until Barb dies. The only way I see Chris entering a group home is if he loses 14BC, which Null has said won't happen. Or, if there is a big enough public incident. I think the structured environment would do him wonders, I just don't see it happening any time soon.

If I understood it right, Null said that 14BC is most assuredly lost, it's just that he will try and make sure that Chris still has a roof over his head.

Halfway through All Stars even Chris seems to understand how fucking stupid this is.

When the hammer drops on 14BC, is there any possibility of keeping Chris’ next address from being broadcast by Chris on the internet?

It's nigh impossible to stop Chris from doxing himself.

He hands out cards with all of his contact info.

Yeah, it seems like most likely thing that's going to spark a conversation like that to Chris is when Barb dies, gets her house gets repossessed and Chris is forced to look for a new place to live.

Unless you've been following Chris it looks a lot like a really autistic roleplaying session.

On paper Chris is a competent adult who doesn't have any serious mental illnesses so why would he believe that a goddess from a video game is literally talking to him on the internet or that a Sonic the Hedgehog Pokemon is really in danger? It's not like it's normal for high functioning autistic people to behave like that.

This shit is nothing to get worked up over fam. Chris has spent his entire life getting hustled and he will spend the rest of it getting hustled. These guys are just 2 of the many, many parasites and grifters that have correctly pegged Chris as an easy mark. Getting mad at them is like getting mad at mosquitoes.

People are scammed every day by bigger values than 6k, but nobody loses their minds because of that.

This forum is overacting too much, calm the fuck down.
The money isn't really the issue. I mean it is, but it isn't. Chris has always sucked with money. The actual worrying thing here is that these guys basically drove Chris over the edge mentally and forced him to do a number of disgusting and violent acts. Which I guess also isn't new..but still, I think the fact that Chris is currently experiencing some sort of psychotic break should be the point when everybody takes a deep breath and admits this has gone on too long

I don't think you appreciate not only how often the local police deal with Chris but how much meaningless bullshit from weens gets thrown their way. They've been dealing with this family's bizarre internet drama just as long as Chris himself has. If you call them and mention the Chandlers I wouldn't be surprised if they just immediately zone the fuck out, go "uh huh. Yeah. Totally. Yeah that sucks. Stop calling.", and hung up the phone.

To be cynical about it however, nobody gives a shit about this family. Mentally unstable rednecks are a dime a dozen in rural Virginia. The Chandlers aren't special.

6k is a good amount of money, for sure, but from a perspective of the FBI and federal investigations, it's peanuts.

White collar investigations take up to $200,000 to investigate. That's why FBI offices have what's called a "loss amount threshold" to screen out minor cases. That's $100,000 most places.

It's not like it's normal for high functioning autistic people to behave like that.
I agree, some autistics may engage in pathological daydreaming to cope, but they know it's not real. Chris just can't tell the difference between reality and fantasy.
