I don't know what the Mormon stance is on Halloween,
Mormons generally don't have a problem with it, from my experience. Congregations often hold a trunk or treat at the church building. I've seen a few individuals that take issue with it, but they've been the exception.

I never understood why so many Protestant fundies hate on Halloween for having syncretic pagan roots, but they usually give Christmas a pass. Christmas is heavily derived from two pagan winter holidays, the Roman Saturnalia and the Germanic Yule, and that's one of the two main holy days in the Christian calendar. A similar case can be made for Easter having syncretic pagan roots, even if the militant atheists tend to over-exaggerate those claims.
Same reason they call the Jews "God's chosen people." They don't read the bible, and just accept whatever babble they hear passed along. Most of the biblical references to any form of sorcery are references to Jewish mysticism other than one case I can think of where people were trying to worship old Greek gods while also wanting to be Christians. On the various old pagan traditions, a good rule of thumb is that if it's not being done for some kind of worship of a deity, or spirit, it's just a cultural practice and is pretty much irrelevant.

Side note: Not reading the bible is also why they practice circumcision even though it's either banned, or strongly discouraged in multiple chapters of the new testament.

That would be the Jehovah's Witnesses, who are pretty weird in their own right, but are very different from your old-school Evangelical Protestant fundies that I was referring to.

Most of the Christian fundamentalists who are against Christmas and Easter are usually "third-party" sects such as the Jehovah's Witnesses, Seventh-Day Adventists, the various Armstrong churches, and so on. They also tend to have beliefs that while clearly Christian in nature, are also vastly different from the major sects.

There are a few others. Mostly Reformed denominations that still hold to the Regulative Principle of Worship. Christmas isn't in the Bible so they don't celebrate it. Zwingli and Calvin both condemned the celebration of Christmas and in fact it was banned by the Puritans for a while.

Some hardline Churches of Christ as well. The only denomination to schism about whether or not putting a kitchen in the church building was scriptural.

I was inspired to add to this thread after seeing two separate Neo-Pagan threads in Community Watch eventually devolve into proselytizing by Christian KF users.

Christianity is slowly dying out in the west, and fundies have taken to social media to desperately try to preserve their Sky Daddy's religion. Whether this involves (literally) demonizing other religions, assembling on Facebook or Twitter to complain about anything they deem "sinful", or apocalyptic doomsaying - it belongs in this thread.

I really figured half of this shit would have died out on the 2000s, but it hasn't.

There are pages like this for every religion on facebook, what makes this one unique?

This is an excellent thread.

Or would have been more than ten years ago.

Nah, just kidding. Even then, the OP is still garbage. If you're going to laugh at retards, why the hell are you redacting their names? Or did you take those screenshots off that insanepeoplefacebook subreddit?

Terrible. Take a lap.

Most fundies are harmless weirdos and not very funny. While irritating to debate with, the easiest solution is to not debate them.

Shit thread. Not fun/interesting.
