Another bug-person in NYC. Not really a "what I spend in a day"-type video but I still think it fits in here.
After seeing his "break" consisting of watching three animes at once I kinda lost some will to live.
Of course, we have to have the gym- and the "yes I totally have friends" *insert crying wojak behind mask* montage

As someone who is a rookie/soon to be “budding” programmer in both real life and in my username, this video actually terrified and confused me. Apart from the hackneyed corporate style instrumental music, he actually uses CHOPSTICKS to stir up his coffee?

Somehow, watching anime on those really expensive HD screens on your computer seems rather tame than compared to that. I’d just rather program, read a book and call it day.

I've heard about people watching Netflix series on 2x speed because they wanna 'maximize their time' or some crap.
Thought it was a meme until now, honestly. Guess reality is once again stranger than fiction.
Got a phrase for that sort of person around here: "Knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."

Mobile fucked me and I can't edit
Tldr reddit consoomer has worst day of his life when his brother trashes his precious plastic bricks.

Looks like brother might be a sped or at least has a violent streak by the looks of the comments. He broke the lock just to smash Lego. So I think both of them are rather sad specimens. Their parents must be so proud. *sigh*

Anyway, Lego CONSOOMer should use this as an opportunity to talk to girls or get fresh air or something. It's nice to have a collection of stuff you like. But that is a metric fuckton of Lego and it must have cost thousands.

At least the brother didn't smash the fish tank. Although I don't see any fishies. Maybe they are hiding from the shame of being owned by a Lego autist.

I think this is a parody.
>0:47 Warming up my fingers before I code
In the video he is shown typing at 215 WPM with 100% accuracy. The current world record for WPM on a standard QWERTY keyboard configuration is 215 words per minute. Another record was set using the DVORAK keyboard configuration in 2005 at 206 words per minute. Now this is sustained over a long period of time but I think that this video is suppose to be satire. Also no one "warms up their fingers before they code" unless they are of course filming for a video.
>1:04 Watching anime on three different monitors
This is clearly a joke

Call me crazy but watching anime or Netflix on 1,5x speed make senses. I did it. A lot of that kind of tv is clearly not high art, it's confort, it's mindless entertainment, and the pacing isn't great. In the case of anime-of-the season in particular it's often very redundant, with scripted conversations and stereotyped characters, but the issue isn't very different with Netflix. It's the realm of real tv, meandering documentaries, okay-enough tv shows... most of those programs are padded with dead air.

You watch it to get the story, and maybe take part in watercooler conversations but the experience can actually be vastly improved by watching it faster.

Watching three animes at once is a little bit insane though. One of the anime he was watching was good enough to deserve normal watching conditions imo.

Also, It's hilarious how pimply he is, it really doesn't go with his "Patrick Bateman if he was an asian tech guy" lifestyle.

5 seconds in I see that he's a fucking Googler and I already hate him.
Rest of the video confirms this.

Possibly but all the seemingly genuine enthusiasm for corporate approved talking points makes me think otherwise.
Googlers aren't people so the erratic behaviour is expected.

Why doesn't he just clean up all those Legos?

You never know -- given how much of an insufferable whiny faggot the lego consoomer is, it's entirely possible his brother just finally got sick of his shit and decided to damage something he cared about trying to get him to stop.

The 3 monitors may be blurred, but my eyes still hurt just from looking at it.

Guess his team doesn't like him watching anime:

Also dude is a moron because his office building has a free gym and a free coffee shop, yet he pays for his own coffee and goes to a luxury gym that costs at a minimum $2200/yr. The equipment there is also likely to be less fancy than Google's (a fully decked out corporate gym is a rounding error to a trillion dollar company)

More pointers that this is an advertising push. What are they pushing for I have little idea. They need more asian anime watchers?

What an infantile life.

Starts “coding” at 11, has a triple anime break 45 minutes later.

The rest of his day is obviously just spent goofing off and pretending to work, between the numerous snack breaks.

And then going out till 3 am.

These are the people running your Internet, folks.

Ffs, just outsource all that shit to India. I guaran-fucking-tee you that Pajeet won’t spend an hour actually working and the rest of the time goofing up and discussing CURRENT TALKING POINT.

He’s either got severe ADHD, or actually fucking hates anime and just watches it because he’s Asian/needs a personality.

Why tf would you watch three shows at once “because they’re slow”.

Just watch something you like you twat!

Compare and contrast with a Japanese programmer: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=e_TxH59MclA&vl=en

Solid salary man who puts in his 8 hours, doesn’t expect mama Google to give him everything for free, has a hobby. Doesn’t watch three animes while he’s supposed to work.

Almost like an adult life?!

Just look at this indian kid go! 3 hours and he's already created twitter!

math.floor.random.then.Document.button.onClick.background.color.float.function.children.background!

At least he's cute, fit, rich (google pays $$$) and probably bangs hot korean STEM girls.
I fail to see how this dude is a bugman, and even moreso a consoomer. Someone having a lifestyle you don't like doesn't automatically make him a bugman. Unlike bugmen, this dude is actually benefiting living in a big city, and actually makes good money, otherwise he would never be able to afford such an appartment. He's basically a bughive chad, or, if you prefer, an agent of the Antichrist.
