I was driving around today running errands and a few houses had signs in the yard for a vacation bible school at the church this summer.

The theme this year is Star Wars (:_(
Given Disney hates Christianity and loves money, they would never allow any church to use Star Wars as the theme for their vacation Bible school stuff. The only reason that church won't get sued is because Disney is in such hot political water now they wouldn't be kicking the hornet's nest by C&Ding that church like when they sued that random daycare years ago.

Don't forget the time they sued a family for wanting to put spiderman on their kids grave or whatever the fuck like only a year or 2 after they bought marvel where they as they usually do with buyouts refer to the character like they always owned it.

So the whole Disney cruise thing is an absolute shit show. They sent out invitations to people and families like these two sloppy fatties who have less than 6k subscribers. Anna ain't that special after all if people like these two got invites, with a whopping 371 views on their video.

What pisses me off though is that Disney canceled two free test cruises for Disney employees and their families to focus on the "Christening" and "media" cruises. A fancy cruise they'd likely never be able to afford otherwise a quick google says disney cast member and cruise line employees make around $30k a year, canceled, so that tards like Anna can lumber around taking pictures of her 600 pounds of lard hanging out in bikinis and chinese polyester little mermaid outfits, for FREE. Despicable. 🎩
Quoting you over to this thread because I had no idea this was a thing.

We talk about the many Nintendo consoomers, but I do wish we talked about the PlayStation consoomers more:

There’s more videos that I can find on this one, but I know for a fact that most of these games are so rare, that even the prices are somewhere in the $150-$200 range on eBay. Either that, or I can find ROMs for the games, but they (probably) won’t run right the appropriate emulator for it.
I get wanting to collect the standout hits, cult classics, and games with just good box art. But outside of extracting data for media preservation, there isn't much reason to hold on to most of those titles. Also, disk rot is supposed to be setting in for ps1 and ps2 games about now. I wonder how it will impact the price when they are too deteriorated to even run properly? Do game collectors even play the games they collect or will that decrease the game's value?

current year value speculator "collectors" don't play or even open the games, so no. Disc rot also is a thing that only happens sometimes as far as I'm aware and is caused by a number of factors like fucking mold somehow finding it's way INTO the fucking cases. I'm scared to open my old ps1/ps2 games due to this but I did it with my gamecube games a few years ago and they played fine thank fucking god.
PS2 games had a problem specific to them where if you played them a lot they'd become unplayable, but it was less a disc rot thing and more a weird defect of another kind involving some models of the console somehow managing to burn the data OUT of the discs from reading them too much.

I am a bit behind on the thread so not sure if it was mentioned but i pulled this one straight from the cursed image thread.

Apparently Diablo Immortal really jumped the shark with that gatcha shit.

A game series like Diablo falling victim to the micro transactions scam, too? That’s even more bizarre than still supporting Blizzard Games in current day.

So Diablo Immortal was made for the Asian market. Mostly China. One of the devs said on Chinese Social Media that "the bear should step down". Bear being Pooh. And now the game is delayed to launch there. Maybe never releasing there. Good job on vetting devs Blizzard.

So maybe someone more into rich people things can explain this to me but why are cruise ships all about the ships these days? If I'm going on a cruise to wild tropical paradise I'm probably going to want to get off the ship and head down to the beach or into town and drink and mingle with the locals a bit, eat some good local grub and drink some dog ass local brew, then hopefully stumble back to the ship without getting mugged. The cruise ship is basically just Disneyland but shittier and I can go to Disneyland or Disneyworld much cheaper than I can go on the cruise and get to ride roller coasters.

Am I too poor to understand cruise ships?

Edit to add: Don't get me wrong, I'd want to be on board a state of the art ocean liner, or at least a nice ship, to actually go to these nice tropical places. But miss me with that "staying on the ship the entire time" bullshit.

You would think that Disney would instead turn one of their cruise ships in that Star Wars Galaxy edge ship but no instead they stuff all the weird Soyboys and ham beasts into a windowless building with overpriced blue shrimp that probably stinks of stale farts.

Probably is best for the other guests that they don’t mingle with the young families

People disappearing from ships are happening on the Disney ones too. It's more like you are gambling with your life, if you go onto one.

But the answer you are seeking is probably convenience. Mingling among the locals is too much work and risky.
But actual rich people probably have a yacht, or they could rent one.

Dunno if it was said here, but there are radical differences between people that play videogames in the west and the east. And you are right that the game is mostly made for China. Because studies also revealed that while pretty much most gamers in the west hated P2W and microtransactions, in Asia (and manly China), they actually liked them and they wanted to be able to pay in order to be better or powerful than others.

Games marketed to China will have as many microtransactions as possible in order to fleece the chinamen of all their yuans. And they will happily part with their money as long as their e-dick is longer than others. The fact that the game was delayed in China and it will very likely be banned is hilarious enough. Blizz cannot stop taking heat even for a second and this will probably make the game bomb.

Some people get angry when I refer to the Chinese as insects, but stuff like this assures me I'm right.

r/Mechmarket is the hub for redditors looking to buy, sell, and trade mechanical keyboards and their parts.

Sadly this user hasnt posted an image of their keyboard hoard.
Pretty funny, 1000 will not get you like the most hyped keyboard or Flex board like a TGR or Keycult but will cover some of the best you can buy if you missed a group buy.
GMK keysets are worth anywhere from $170 to like $400 on average, this is due to sets being ran in Group buy and GMK having to make them which as of writing this is up to 2 and a hlaf years wait from a GB ending
You can see ""GB End" and "Shipped Date" here

You can actually make a profit on quite a lot of stuff you buy in the hobby due to this fact stuff is either ran in limited numbers like boards or take ages to be made and shipped or just rarity like Artisan keycaps.

I like a smart consoomer refuse to buy any after market prices on anything but will join Group buys or try my luck at raffles on boards and artisans I like. I have a board I was lucky enough to get a spot in the GB for was about $300 or something and seen them sell from anywhere from 2k to 3.5k as of recent. Not that I sell much or buy much but I could come out much richer than the money i've put in.

Imagine feeling smug about getting into a raffle for the chance to be able to buy a keyboard lmao.

This is a consumer thread why does it always devolve into people going "I buy stuff but not in the BAD way. I collect useless redundant things intelligently, unlike those other simpletons".

You can only use one keyboard at a time silly

I fully admit my hobby is dumb and consoomery. I waste money on plastic and metal because I enjoy how it looks and sounds its as simple as that.
I was just explaining why some things cost the way they do, and a bit more insight paints a better picture of it all. That doesnt stop it being dumb and consoomery it just explains some of the aspects better to understand and yes buying after market is cringe, selling after market is based.
