Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

and it is a special problem for gerbils because they will chew through any plastic and need significantly more depth to burrow. Still, it reinforces the idea that small rodents are toys rather than living beings and encourages impulse buying;.

Anytime I've gone to pet stores, not one of them markets the proper 'cage' for gerbils - aquariums. They are going to kick up bedding/chewed cardboard all around even a large cage, so fish tanks are really the only thing that they can be put in. And to be even more exact, the 'high' type of aquariums ie a 20 gallon high for burrowing depth.

Yeah, I hate how pet stores pretty much treat hamsters, gerbils, and mice the same. Hamsters are solitary and very territorial unlike the other two who are very social. Mice can benefit from vertical space where as gerbils and hamsters don't and they need a lot of bedding depth, especially gerbils. They are completely different creatures with different needs.

Pet stores just want you to consoom because if they can get you to buy an animal, they can sell you all of the fancy accessories and more

Anyways, back to consoooooom. Look out for the Hello Kitty Funko Pop!

I saw some of that Hello Panda and YamYam snacks today. That shit is expensive. I was honestly baffled it was like, $3 for a box of flavourless strawberry junkfood.
My teeth hurt watching those compilations with how much sugar all those huge snack portions probably have, especially with all the fizzy drinks.
japanese candy is not worth it, its sold more expensive than other imported goods and is always super bland, tastes like nothing. i believe they actually try really really hard on purpose to remove the flavour from food.
See the problem with the Japanese snack consoomers is that they're usually grabbing the cheap snacks you'd find at a convenience store that people love to sell for jacked up prices on places like ebay as 'mystery snack boxes' or what they can find sold in the international section of their grocery store.

Feel like a bit of a shill, but probably the best I've found for Japanese snacks has been the Bokksu sub boxes since they partner with actual snack makers and you get an interested variety each month around a theme. Might not be super interesting to weebs just wanting a sugar high from junk food since it's more traditional artisan fair, but it's great opening up a couple snacks and sitting down for a relaxed tea time. Also their Seaweed Tempura (specifically the Setouchi Sudachi Citrus Flavor) is really amazing, especially paired with some beer.

Yes, the only type of cage I've seen them market (correctly) are the large cages for rats. Everything else is wrong.

If the pet stores demand consoom, they'd hate me. Since I've kept gerbils for years, I've been using the same tank the entire time. As long as you keep a good supply of fresh cardboard/cardstock, you should never need to buy bedding either (they make their own with the chewings). About the only money the pet stores make $$ off me is when I buy a bag of food once every couple of months for about 8 bucks. Gerbils are by far the cheapest rodent to keep because of these things.

Oh man, I fell for the $80 mostly plastic cage for my gerbils when I was a kid. Bedding everywhere, constantly chewing the plastic, pain in the ass to clean the cage itself. Aquarium life. Loved watched them build proper tunnels through the glass.

I got a problem with how steep they pour the drinks. I just imagine all the splatter, just because it doesn't show up on camera does not mean there's not any.

And now you too can get married in a cottage core dress. I give her props for at least making it herself
It seems to have those bishop sleeves that seem to be all the rage in bridal fashion right now, but I just know in ten years it will be view like those pick-up skirts in the 2000s and the poofy sleeves and shoulder pads of wedding dresses in the 80s. It is also going to age horribly because I bet you anything in 10-20 years cottagecore will go out of style and said bride will look back at her wedding photos with regret. At least the other wedding dress trend is simple, plain white dresses which will hopefully age better.

I hate a lot of wedding themes based off some form of media or very timely trends, like, I remember when a lot of people had Game of Thrones themed weddings which, first of all, most of the weddings in Game of Thrones people get murdered or something bad happens and two, the show went to shit in the final seasons so if you had that theme before it went to shit, you might not like it now. That is just one example.

But ultimately, no chicken (this is from her Instagram - @leytonpee):
She does have a fluffy white dog now, though.

I'm glad she just ended up getting a dog and it looks in good condition. Chickens can be pets but they've been bred and taught to be farm animals first and foremost. Dogs, on the other hand, are companions and a much better fit. Happy ending for all.

Interesting info about gerbils/hamsters too. I'm glad it was brought up how to take care of them because I was completely ignorant. Not that I want one, but if I hear someone saying they're going to buy one and looking at a useless plastic dinosaur, at least I can step in now and say that's inappropriate for the animal. Which is what chain Pet Stores should be doing, but I have a feeling they care more about your wallet.

My teeth hurt watching those compilations with how much sugar all those huge snack portions probably have, especially with all the fizzy drinks.

I honestly question whether they even eat it all or end up throwing half of this shit out after they feel like garbage for consuming so much unnatural sugar. Like, I'm pretty sure @NoReturn brought it up first, but the JookstoGo girl makes the most unholy drinks. It's always sprite mixed with candies and other pop and I usually want to vomit after seeing her concoctions. Her taste buds are either nuked or she just does it for the camera and then throws that shit out. But I have a feeling she's dedicated to being KAWAII.

First one? Gummie bears, a yogurt drink, gatorade, and sprite. Disgusting.

I think if you're interested in trying snacks from around the world, eating a wide variety from that culture instead of just the brightly coloured candies is a way better approach. Limiting yourself to Kawaii packaging and only high-sugar content is stupid because anyone can tell you in Japan, those things are usually just one-off treats. Not shit to consume every day. Which is how snacks should be treated but, y'know. The animes show uwu cute girls eating pocky and getting headpats. Must imitate them to keep up the illusion! Same with instant ramen!

Like I don't see a lot of these channels eating wasabi peas or fish crackers. They only eat shrimp chips because the packaging is "cute."

I got a problem with how steep they pour the drinks. I just imagine all the splatter, just because it doesn't show up on camera does not mean there's not any.

They don't care. They leave the mess around so they can film a "clean your desk ASMR ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ" after, Their rooms probably smell weird.

My cousin had a theme wedding - gothic steampunk. Not shockingly, she's divorced now. And the photos are cringe.

How was that dress cottagecore to begin with? It looked like an unholy mashup or victorian corsets with off-white cheap lace and "bohemian" sleeves. Good for her for being talented enough to make a dress, but what the fuck makes that cottagecore? Why would you label it that way anyway?

I'll be honest and say that it seems like a relatively recent trend in the last decade or so that weddings have to have "themes" 30-40 years ago or so, there was no themes, the only theme was "getting married" now it seems like every wedding planner wants to know your "theme"

Which reminds me of this anime themed Inuyasha wedding. I wonder if they are still married.

That's a video I'd burn and tell my kids we just went to Vegas and got married by Elvis. Yeeeeeeesh.
Don't let your hobbies overtake shit like your wedding, kids. It'll never look good.

And well, well. Seems the big Kawaii Gamer hasn't been uploading her consooming because of mean comments.

Nintendo Girl Crying over Consoom

"Your whole content is flexing, you're just rich and you don't work for anything."

Notice she doesn't mention she was 'impacted' by comments criticizing her for promoting a consoom lifestyle. No, she was impacted that her entire content is bragging (which it is) and that she must be rich and doesn't work for her consoom (which is probably true as she states she's a student and renovated a shed just for anime). But she really liked making the content for aesthetic lifestyles!

This really highlights the problem with pastel girlgamers. She enjoyed making content of her showing off her consooming and promoting Aesthetic Lifestyle living. But when criticized, she's upset and has to ask people if they want her to continue. If there was no tiktok or Instagram and we were back to Livejournal and forums, would she even have over a million followers? Would she consoom? Would Aesthetic Living even be a thing?

You've gotta respect the fact that funko can make retarded shit like this and actually trick people into CONSOOMING it.

I think this one is eating all the shit she's showing. After being on the farms for a little while, I can be sure of when to say someone is fat. The chubby hands and her orc-like face that is shared among fat women.
Fat people are notorious for having disgusting food combinations too. That shit is separating too, I think, don't know if there's enough lecithin in the drinks. But dairy and citrus DO NOT MIX ordinarily, and if it's lemon-flavoured yoghurt. It's already pre-mixed with lecithin (ingredient to make stuff not separate).

Yeah pretty much, that dress is ugly as sin, doesn't know what it actually wants to be.

Gotta get that gross ASMR sound somehow.

This probably isn't your cousin, but this is one of the first results for "gothic steampunk wedding":

It looks vaguely normal until you look at each one individually.

THEY'RE STILL TOGETHER!

The power of weebery is truly great. Anime-Gods bless.
Also, no shade to the missus, but what is that face she has? Narcissa Wright has it too.
Is it a birth defect?

It's ok, she got over it.

Tattoos on a womans fingers has to be one of the biggest red flags for me. Let's me know everything I need to know about that person. Every single woman I've met irl and online who has tattoos on their fingers is a massive consoomer and mentally ill. Bonus points if their finger tattoos are some lunar symbolism.

Why the fuck do all these kawaii snack tik tokers drink the nastiest shit? None of it looks tasty, and it can't be good for you, maybe they should try drinking some water.

:story: when she smothered her toast in sprinkles I lost it, can she not go a single snack or meal without an exorbitant amount of sugar?

Did you watch the video? Her face is in the video two times at least.

She does not look healthy, but less about size, just she looks overall unhealthy.
