why does it seem like every consumer woman needs to have a favorite holiday that she goes nuts for and defines her whole life for half a year? usually its halloween, the halloween girls are the worst, but christmas and thanksgiving are up there

Halloween is up there on the "won't shut up about it" scale, but the Christmas ones are the ones that spend the most money. This is not counting gift giving into the equation, this is just decorations and clothes.

I think it used to be mostly aimed at restaurants where they could compete to have the "most expensive whatever" and get in the Guiness World Records for free advertising and getting the occasional person with too much expendable cash to buy it. Now it's probably more aimed at said latter crowd since some lame zoomer influencer can go make a Tiktok showing them eating a 1,000 dollar bagel or whatever and get a million views.

For some bizarre reason, only his Potekoro plush is the most expensive while other character potekoro plushes are kinda okay-priced.

Times like this vindicates me about only keeping Fate at the 3 original paths and any other spinoff (Prisma Illya, Apocrypha, Last Encore, Grand Order) as irrelevant.
 
This thread makes me think of this moron I knew who was flat broke but was a huge Apple fanboy. Spent his tugboat on an iMac...for gaming.

The spin-offs are fun, but they lose a lot of the original charm and open it for weirdos like this to get obsessed over comic relief charecters.

How it keeps getting renewed... I don't get it. Look at any site that scores anime, and the amount of people that watch each subsequent season drops like a rock. But that's loli coom brains for you. Consoomers that are the ultimate whales for any franchise

tbf I tried using retroarch and that was obnoxious to set up. I could have looked up a tutorial I guess, I didnt really bother with it too much because yeah, its just easier to get a standalone emulator and just drop the files in the ROM folder and go. Especially if you only want like a few emulators and dont care about having your MAME library with your MS DOSbox shit.

If you want to setup emulators to work properly, especially something like retroarch, you should just use a tutorial that spoon feeds you and holds your hand through the process.

It will never not be funny to me when I see people who can't afford it bragging on social media about eating these leaf coloured steaks. Often, the steaks don't look very good at all. How do you even get bad steak in America, it's one of the few foods the US does really well.

Its the tard filter, throw some cheap gold paper and a 30$ meal turns into a 1000$ one. Like how you throw 50 cents worth of rgb led lights on a ram stick and you can sell it for double as gamer ram. Retards literally don't get it, they'll just call you poor for telling them its dumb.
