I'd rather stick with the serial killer plot than the whole YA dystopia thing. I see this as more of a psychological thriller with a sci-fi plot device than a Michael Bay-esque sci-fi actioner.

Dystopians are overdone. They will be in the main media for a couple more years, recommend something new and popping.

Connor, we're not saying that your ideas are bad, just that they resemble other people's material so much that it's hard not to believe it's plagiarism. We've pointed out how painfully similar your stuff is to other works. It's all fine and good to have the same idea and maybe run storylines similar to other people, but when your story just reminds people of better ones they could be reading, consider going back and changing it a little.

If it was one or two people complaining about it you could probably say we're fucking with you, but a lot of us do think you're being terribly unoriginal.
 
Connor if we already have Stephen King and Thomas Harris why would anyone bother reading a worse version of their work?
