For what it's worth, Connor's recent involvement in the Autism Diversity thread seem to indicate that he's still somewhat capable of producing legitimate content. Though the thread on him takes up most of his time, and being shit on in it 24/7 for things he admittedly deserves causes temporary episodes of leaving the Farms for a few days to a week. If this thread is closed, and attention towards him dies down for sometime, there's a good chance he could go back to his earlier, more entertaining self. Maybe the thread could be reopened again once there's enough content to go over. But at the very least, it was a hell of a ride reading every single page of this thread.

@Alan Pardew, you make some good points but I have to object on one kind of micro-point.

You can tell a lot about a person, not by the mere fact that they make writing fuckups (which is entirely to be expected from first-year college students, community or otherwise), but by the kind of fuckups they make. The attempt to fill space has been a thing among people writing essays for generations. But millenials who do the redundant, repetitive repetition and who generally make paragraphs composed almost entirely of white noise (not a race reference; that would be over in the Phillip V. Haskins-Delici subforum) are saying, "Fucky you, I shouldn't have to be writing this essay/book report/whatever because I am already an expert at this." It's a kind of entitled pomposity I didn't see when I first started teaching, and the fact that Connor uses it makes him shockingly, teetering on the edge of almost... normal for his generation. Sadly. /oldfriend

Many thanks to @Smutley for all of the great screencaps and @BOLDYSPICY! for all of the cartoons. You've been amazing.

Alan Pardew says the thread may not be in its prime anymore and everyone assumes it's the End of Days?! I expected better from you, Kiwis! It may not be Old-Connor, no, but who's to say the thread has to end? Why are we all acting like the Connor thread is about to see its last hurrah?

The Connor cycle always continues.

I really kind of hope it does end. Connor is just well, Connor. Getting mad at him and bashing him as been the thing in this tread. I hope he gets better, but that is all up to him.

At this point, it is looking as if this thread runs the risk of becoming trollable. We have a lot of people who want Connor to be THE LOWEST HUMAN BEING IN ALL EXISTENCE to laugh at an ridicule despite themselves. If you have to work this hard to make Connor into this person than quite likely you have some soul searching to do. I am not trying to be mean, but really though lets be honest and admit that it just is not working. Connor is simply Connor Bible for better or for worse.

Connor made a lot of this mess himself. His approach could have been much better, but finesse is clearly not one of Connor's strong suits. A different approach could have resolved this with much less pain for him, but I am not sure if he knows how to take that tact at this point in his life. :(

Of course, you might say, "But Alan, he sperged out on the Autism thread and that's hilarious". Yes, indeed, he's hilarious. But why? That's because he's hilarious as he was used to - sperging on other threads. That's what made him hilarious before his thread was made. Before his Halal thread was made, he was notorious for sperging in chat about stupid shit such as his Halloween costume, sperging about adoption in adoption threads, sperging about Juno in movie-related threads and so much more. Now compare them with this thread. It's about his book report, his comics and other boring shit. Everytime he hasn't finished them people are like "LOL YOU'RE LAZY AND YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING XD" or even when he finishes them people are like "LOL IT'S SHIT FUCKY YOU CONNOR". Is this what I want from Connor as what he used to? No, this drama is getting really unfunny.

This seems like a pretty fragile situation. If the thread were to be locked, and Connor became a more active poster elsewhere again, he would be ridiculed the same amount due to his infamy alone. Or if he wasn't, (like if a rule was literally implemented for people to stop insulting and criticizing him) then he would start forming content that would garner a thread again. It's like a meta Connor cycle which is even spergier.

At the same time, it's hard to blame people, Connor is Connor.

There are also a lot of questions about him and his current situation, a lot of logical fallacies. I guess his ten-week allowance on a report will never be explained. *sigh*
