You seem to be spending a lot of time with your grandmother. I think It's really sweet to do that. But are your parents forcing this on you, it seems like there's a lot of time out lately.
My parents and I hardly spend time with each other, outside of the occasional dining. When they're home from work at the end of the day, they spend several hours in their bedroom watching television without making a peep and sporadically checking up on me. On weekends, they go fishing with my uncle, leaving me to deal with my grandmother, who's probably senile. I guess I'm supposed to grin and bear it.

Here's a clue, Connor - if your writing plan falls to pieces the moment you have to make a couple of shopping trips, it was a shitty plan to begin with
I have a tendency to be grandiose.

I'm glad to hear that your Uncle is still around, I know he was in pretty bad straits a while ago. Has he recovered any better, or is he still just hanging on?

Does your grandmother live with you too, or do you get to go over to her place on the weekends?

Wait, is this the same uncle who's been dying of cirrhosis? & what makes you think your grandmother is senile?

My uncle's physically better than he was when he came home. He's still an antisocial ass, though.

My grandmother lives in a house a block from mine, with my uncle. I'm more or less encouraged to go there when my mother and father are tied up.

Yes, it's the same guy.

My grandmother's vocabulary seems to be decreasing, as well as her control over her bodily functions. I've actually had to help her get adult diapers. Her memory also seems to be fading. She needs help doing simple stuff, and keeps asking me the same questions that I've already answered.

Part of that's just aging, not necessarily senility. How old is she, anyway?

Hey, @Connor. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. It's hard to see that happen to anyone, especially a family member. It's good to hear your uncle's health is improving though.

If writing is going to be such a large priority for you, you need to have less of a designated time and more of a "I need ___ hours of writing today, I'll fit them in as best I can" attitude. Like @Meowthkip said, if you can find a time you write best at (and it lines up with your free time by the grace of god), you're in a great position. Keep going.

That's really weird of them. Why do they think that?

basically I doubt they want to keep him from driving. I think his dad tried to show him twice and Connor had a meltdown about it, and then his dad got frustrated and told him to quit being dumb and just do a circle around the k-mart parking lot god damn it's just a circle dude step on the gas gently, and then Connor told him that k-mart probably employs scumbag molesters and that's why he was taken there wasn't it?? and then his dad never offered again and Connor never asked.
