Everyone on the Stephen King forums has a massive hateboner for James Patterson, but the worst among them is Connor. Patterson is the Jim Davis of writing, but unlike Connor he's actually written something and made money on it.

This is the book they're upset about, The Murder of Stephen King, about a guy named Stephen King who murders people like how they were murdered in Stephen Kings books and then goes to try and murder Stephen King himself. it's badly written schlock, but once again, it's still published.

If their forum wasn't so unweildy and constantly prone to breaking I'd say these people are worth mocking too because they took this post by Connor and wrote 2 pages of serious text wall replies.

You can rest assured that any time Connor watches anything, he immediately starts wishing his favorite write/director/actress would do their own adaption of it. Case in point: Connor watched License to Kill

So what did he do? He necro'd a thread on "What books do you wish Stephen King wrote?" just to sperg endlessly on it.

No you stupid fatty he wouldn't write a "gritty, Dalton/Craig-esque take on the character".

Connor can't even be bothered to read authors that he proclaims to like, I highly doubt he's read enough of Patterson to have an educated opinion beyond "this author has a kind of shitty reputation that I heard about from other people on the internet! Fuck that guy!"

Patterson is probably too busy and successful to even be aware of these autists, but I still like the idea of him intentionally trolling pretentious hacks like Connor with the shit he puts out.

Patterson doesn't even write his own books anymore, they just bear his name. That's what happens when you're as rich as he is.
