Okay, Connor, let's pretend like you actually don't have any trace of the emails to show us. Can't you at least summarize what was said?

This power of attorney has been great for him because he can trot it out any time someone suggests he do anything. "No I can't get a job my parents have PoA". "No I can't do volunteer work because of PoA". "No I can't take more than 2 classes PoA".
If that's the case, then why say that he's going to apply to Publix? After all if his parents are just going to shoot him down and prevent him from doing so how does he expect to get a job there?

Oh right, I forgot, it's a smoke screen and it really comes down to Connor being a lazy fat fuck who'd rather get SSID and creep on Molly Ringwald instead of bettering himself and trying to find a real girl. You know, like a normal person would.

Connor's mom said:
While sleepy old Port Royal may be coming to life for some, one thing has not changed and that would be our world-class elementary school under the leadership of Kay Keeler.

It was a sad day when word spread that Keeler may go to Whale Branch, but she will stay at Port Royal.

My child will move on to middle school, but for all the parents who have children at Port Royal, you are blessed. The 250-word letter limit is inadequate to express thanks to all of the staff. When my child started kindergarten, we all knew something wasn't normal with him, but it wasn't until he was in Charlotte DiOrio's third-grade class that we received the devastating news from the Medical University of South Carolina that he was autistic. The next day DiOrio handed me at least 100 pages of material on autism that she gathered by researching the Internet.

Port Royal Elementary had just witnessed its first case of autism and took the issue head on with fierce energy. Autism is not going away, and you couldn't ask for a better school for a special-needs child. Thank you to all of the teachers and support staff. A special thanks goes to Mike Sargent for being a super volunteer, Beverly Smith-Dore for all the support and Mikel Swinton for keeping the school so clean and for his disability advocacy. I will never be able to thank resource teacher Barbara Marsh enough for all the "tough love."

Thank you all. You give some of us in Port Royal a little glimmer of hope that some things are meant to stay the same -- and that is our precious little school.

Sic semper autismis, no?

I can't even see this being autism so much as an almost narcissistic level of laziness. But then, we've seen more than once that there's a profound relationship between the two. Autists get so self-centered that they can't even process the idea of doing something OTHER than satisfying their immediate desires, and concoct elaborate persecution fantasies to get out of responsibility.

Then their families enable them, and you get a Chris, or a Connor.

I'm not even officially published yet, and I think collaborating with Molly Ringwald would be a step down for me. That being said, she would never work with you, Connor.

And even if she did, I bet even the crimson haired temptress that is Molly Ringwald couldn't motivate you to write in a timely fashion

Man, this really hit me. It sounds like Connor's mom and his teachers really did their best to ensure that Connor would succeed. The part that says "The next day DiOrio [Connor's third-grade teacher] handed me at least 100 pages of material on autism that she gathered by researching the Internet" really stuck out to me. She sounds like a great teacher.

Also, everything that we've heard about Connor's mom makes me feel so sorry for her. It sounds like she loves Connor very much and wants what's best for him, and he repays her by telling strangers on the internet that she's abusive and a horrible mother.

Is Connor still going for the "raining in L.A. all the time" thing in Rewriting Eva, or did he switch it to a fictional city yet? If Connor wanted a REAL city that could satisfy his "Blade Runner" desires, he could switch it over to circa 1980s east Houston, where he could have fire-spewing refineries, noxious pollution, plenty of rain, and still enough suburban houses for his characters to live in.

Of course, it doesn't matter anyway, since Connor isn't one to take advice.

Sooner or later he's going to cross the line and post something really creepy/inappropriate on Molly's Facebook page and get blocked. Then the real show will start.
