Why should he be any different than any other weeb out there?

The amount of weebs that think that Japan is some kind of paradise has exploded in the past fifteen years or so. I blame the total saturation and proliferation of animu. It wasn't like it is to this degree in the 90's.

This should be obvious to everyone who's not autistic, but a typewriter named Ronin doesn't make a man a good writer. Connor's like the budding young guitarist who gets a high-class Gibson, a full stack of amplifiers, a new pedal board, some heavy-gauge strings, and a wealth of instructional material, and then just lets it all rot in his closet while he finds new and exciting porn to masturbate to.
 
I don't mean to hate on the people who like typewriters, but who the fuck uses a typewriter nowadays? A computer lets you do almost the exact same thing without the need to reset the page or put in a new one if you make a typo or any of that other stuff. Plus, a lot of people tend to prefer digital copies for the ease of use.

He believes that a computer is distracting (might have a point there) and with a typewriter he can just focus on writing and can't compulsively go back to revise what he's written.
