strong men also cry

I would if I could. What job is there for me? Honestly. Most of the kids from my graduating class are still in minimum wage jobs, if they're not staying home with their families.

I'm no guidance counselor but look into copywriting maybe? Read a few books on the subject, put together a portfolio of short samples, glance at online job ads for copywriter positions just to see what kind of skills they're looking for and do some independent study (protip: usually Search Engine Optimization shit)....it'd be a fucking start.

Let's face it, as long as I sit on my fat ass on this computer, I will become one with my computer seat and be the most intelligent office furniture ever found. That will show those assholes what for!

What kind of retarded class was this

I think the issue is more so that Connor is making yet further excuses for not holding a job at all.
It's also comical that he's snubbing minimum wage work, you too good for that eh lad?

There's little opportunity for advancement working some minimum wage job. I was saying that if I did get a job at a fast food chain like McDonald's, it would be a dead-end. But hey, that's all I'm ever going to amount to, ain't it?

But you're at a dead end now, right? I say go for it.

Dude... It's McDonald's. I'd probably be stuck there for the rest of my life.
No, see the nice thing about having a job in America is you can choose to leave at any time by putting in a notice with your boss.
Also the nice thing about Mcdonalds is that it looks good on resumes because they do a lot of team building stuff, a chick I went to school with was able to go to Disneyland with some co-workers courtesy of the oh so evil corporation which is so evil it sends people to Disneyland and she rose up to the manager position (which isn't bad money considering you don't need any schooling for it) and then she decided to quit and she got an office job.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Think of all the Big Macs you could make if you got that McDonald's job.

mmmmm i feel like writing. connor brace your face holes for wisdom.

When I was working at a fast food place, it was a 45 minute commute for $9/hr work. I spent the first hour of every shift making back gas money. During this this time, I built my portfolio website that got me my full-time job, which in turn allowed me to move to Portland and then Australia and gave me experience equivalent to a degree. I also met my best friend there, I met my first girlfriend through him, I lived at his house for a few months with his family and essentially became my own person through the financial freedom allowed to me by my fast food job and later my online job. I probably would still be living with my mom struggling through community college if I didn't learn work ethic bursting my ass in a really fast-paced store. People began to rely on me and I learned about the good feeling you get from being someone who was dependable.

i.e. do it you fat faggot or just kill yourself idc
