Thanks! I am oddly flattered and less mortified than I thought I would be when this inevitably happened. I admit I went for cheap laffs above all, and any redeeming value is purely unintentional, but if you got something out of it, I won't complain. Then again, if you're just being a good sport... well, congrats on being a good sport.

Coming soon... ConnorQuest 2: Electric Kriegerloo. Wait, no. The Legend of Molay's Gold.

Wait, no. The Wrath of Khan-or.
I have had this in my head all day thanks to ConnorQuest.

At least two, but I'm thinking of more.

You should most definitely do more than that. If there's no math involved, you should at least be able to handle four classes or so. Math is one of the few subjects that actually requires you to do loads of homework; most college courses only consist of keeping up with the readings and having the odd project/paper/quiz/test sprinkled in. In my own experiences, the majority of the time is smooth sailing (punctuated with stress over papers and tests every now and then).

You're not going to get very far if you only take a couple of classes per semester. You should really look into knocking out your required courses.

What will motivate you to challenge yourself to take more credit hours per semester in college than what you're doing right now?

As a current college student, I can attest to this. I'm a music major, so the overwhelming majority of my homework is practice-related; most other classes are just readings (music history) or short online assignments (World of Work, Italian). Yeah, I have to write an 8-page paper for music history, but it's due in a little under a month and I already have my topic and sources identified; it's not that bad. Really, I find college work to be a lot better, in a variety of ways, than high school work.

Taking lots of classes will also help you start to get into the routine of working regularly and structuring your time accordingly. As an Aspie, I know how important routines are, so while it may be tricky to jump right into a new routine, it really is the best way to adjust - when you have no choice. Perhaps "working" is kind of "conformist", and honestly I totally had the same viewpoint until recently (fuck working! just let me do music theory forever!), but it's a fact of life, and honestly I feel better about myself with a heavy workload than I do with a shitton of free time. (I still have more free time than perhaps I should, but I'm the best student in Italian and I do spend long hours practicing, so there isn't much for any of my professors to bother me about, haha)

I finished reading A.J. Quinnell's Man on Fire a while back, and I loved it. I'm trying to figure out which novel I'm going to read next.

Follow up - since apparently you do read books, why does your reading have no apparent influence on what you write? You always describe your books in terms of movies, TV shows and occasionally graphic novels. It seems to me that you'd be better off writing movies than books.

Why is Connor not becoming an answerer of my question or another question that has previously been asked? Maybe if I ask this question I will receive the answer to the previous question and/or questions that have been previously ignored. This way I won't have to live with the realization that it either wasn't a very good question to begin with or that Connor is in no way obligated to answer all questions and there is no guarantee that any given question will be answered in a satisfactory way or even at all.

I am entitled to a response because the thread is not about me, and people that don't have threads about them are superior to those who do have threads about them. But for the record I am really cool and take seven courses in the school, all of which are upper year science courses with laboratory components that take a grand number of hours of my time like a WHOOPS master thief. Even still, I have plenty of time left over to raise my six children and simultaneously work two full time jobs at rival meat packing plants in separate cities. Mind you I do this despite my lethal allergy to all meats and children.

The above demonstrates that I have a good work ethic and am a smart individual on the online and because I am so smart and good at basically everything Connor becomes worthless by comparison. By bringing up my life experiences entirely unprompted I hereby provide further evidence to what we've long suspected, one math class isn't a very large number of math classes to be taking at all! But what you might not have known is the even more important fact that you should be impressed by my claims and give me moral support and validation. Why else would I have brought up my schooling, children, and employment in a lolcow thread without the intention of providing insight that such a background would have given?

So basically dude, since I'm the superior human being Connor must give me the right of way and do as I command. If I do not receive a response I will ask the question again within the next three pages or the next time Connor shows up, whichever happens first. When I am ignored for a second time I will become increasingly upset about it until that whiny fat faggot gives me the attention I not only deserve, but am entitled to by virtue of my own greatness.

I'll even be so kind to repeat my question to spare you from searching through the thread to find it.
Q. What would you do if you bought two pints of milk?

What I saw on random.txt when I opened this page: "In the end, one way or another, the A-Logs are going to win."
This is very appropriate for this as a lot of people (not limited to people other than me) have been a-logging instead of using their life experience to actually say anything useful.

I can't argue with evidence like that.

"I have an inconsistent work schedule on my projects but I'm taking six calculus classes, seven courses on brain surgery, and thirteen courses on rocket science, all while collecting hearts for the Organization and practicing in between, so I'm better than Connor. This video is proof of my superior ironclad work ethic that Connor should learn from, me being so much better than him and all."

It doesn't take much to A-Log a guy who took five years to write a novella with more ripoff work than Sonichu, who hates adoption because he thinks everyone who makes him work is secretly evil, and also wanted to psychologically break a girl for being nice to him because he can. It just goes without saying that most people here are better than Connor and some other lolcows (Vade, Nick Bate, CWC).
You could also try to say something useful with your life experience but Connor won't listen or he'll just pretend to listen in a futile attempt to suppress our mockery of him.

Oh and if Connor even tried to be in the Organization, he'd either be turned into a Dusk for atrocious laziness and/or simultaneously sucking up to and pissing off Xemnas, Xigbar, and Saix, or shanked by Larxene for creeping on her.

To be fair, Connor did say he would do a Q&A, but point taken. I can't speak for everyone, but I know I used to be like Connor when I was growing up (& I believe @hurrhurrhurr said he was, as well), so I've just been taking a step back & "compiling" questions to keep from working myself into a lather. Apologies.

We all have a little Connor in us :tomgirl:

From past experience, Connor seems to get distracted when a bunch of people dogpile him with comments or questions. I don't think people should take offense if he ignores their queries intentionally or otherwise, it's just the nature of the game. He's not wired like most of us are. He needs room to get his feet under him.

New version of connor.wad including a math class updated for accuracy and an experimental deathmatch map. Yes now you can kill your friends to get on top, y'know, like some kind of sociopath.

EDIT: I decided that regenerating health was gay and wanted to handle DM health/armor more Goldeneye style so have a 0.4.0c; sorry for the rapid updating

Connor's actually inspired me to dust off whatever Doom modding skills I had, and maybe learn some new tricks along the way, so I didn't just sit there and stagnate like him. I've been pretty much constantly going back and seeing what can improve in this project too for the past week; I'd say my work so far is equivalent to three chapters in Redesigning Eva.
I found that the Deathmatch mode just isn't as fun when Twatty Bing-Bongs is taking 5x the damage of the normal Doom marine and moving like a snail, so I've also been rebalancing his player properties and such (I want him weaker than normal yet still able to hold up in DM). Here's version 0.4.0d, or Redesigning Eva Connor Fatty Ding-Dongs.
