That's a shame. He was great, poz loads is still an in joke in my friend group.

He kind of spiraled out of control for a while and started calling to accelerate white genocide soon after the podcast ended. I hope he's still alive and found his black queen. Last I heard he was addicted to pokemon pinball.

Edit didn't even know he restarted the podcast, I stopped following once he left YouTube years ago.

Null found a better way to remember CF than Forney, who focused on how he and CF shared the same online feud. Sad really. But those will be your friends if you’re the type to spiral into malevolent dooming,
 
I don't really have anything to add. It pains me to know that yet another person I used to listen to during those endless hours of standing behind a gas station counter after everything was done just begging for a customer to come in has passed.

His reviews of bad frozen food were heart-breaking to me, they were existential in a way Dan Harmon could never comprehend. I wish I could just shoot the breeze with him about old video games, he was a better and more insightful critic than most of the people who do it for a living.

I do not think that the online right-wing, "chudly" spaces on this here capital-I Internet would be the same without him. His podcast episodes usually got anywhere from 5-10k views on YouTube a few months before the first channel deletion. And then his Vine/Tumblr videos got way more than that. I think one or two had multiple hundreds of thousands of views. That kind of reach in 2015-2019 in the small world that was labelled the "alt-right" at the time has huge knock-on effects to today. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Vice President of the United States has heard "MED RESISTANT AIDS" at some point.

Sam Hyde has mentioned him in passing a few times, and "How To Bomb the US Gov't" has quite a lot of CFisms. Most certainly "poz loads" more than once or twice. His content was like an innoculation against all this poz bullshit.

His peak content was Nostalgia Wound, though.

An example of why having a doomer mindset will inevitably lead to depression, anger and death. We must keep a mindset that we will firmly grasp victory and win in the end. Seems to be a lot of old Internet personalities have died in the past few years, like a changing of the guard.

A bunch of stuff on the Internet Archive. There's also a couple full pre-hiatus archive mega links that used to float around. I'll look around old chats and DMs to see.

If he is really gone then we have lost one of the original noticers. His Tumblristas series really showed the worst of Tumblr back in the day, before they got acquired by Yahoo.
CF Radio was pretty good (I hated the weird crying dog sound/meme).

He was blackpilled for a long time but he came back a couple of years ago, he was uploading new episodes of Common Filth Radio on Odysee.

He was so influential that I first encountered him from this feature.
Janice Raymond discussed the effects of gender ideology on children in her book "The Transexual Empire", which was published in the 70s, pre-dating this dude's show by quite some time.
I guess I know who to blame for "white girls fuck dogs".

I was a fan of CF, even have the shirt he used to sell. May he rest in peace. Didn't know he was a drinker. I found his stuff in 2015 after I saw that Sargon commented on one of his Tumblrista videos on Google+ of all places, listened to him all the time.
 
I had my issues with CF's recent stuff, where he was become full blackpilled regarding certain subjects. But I honestly never had known he had drinking issues.

CF's stuff also helped me a lot during the rougher time of my life, when things were very confusing and weren't any better on the Internet. His influence helped me dodge a lot of dumb shit that would've fucked my life over. When he became something of a doomer, I felt betrayed. I did not hate him for it, I was just sad about how things went despite things on my end improving. I honestly need to sit down and think about the news, since they are very shocking for me. I hope the news aren't true.
