So did he do anything of actual worth or impact? Or is this just a case of "I agreed with him and he validated my opinions and that makes him important [to me]"? Cause the OP and skimming the thread doesn't show me anything influential or important. Just another culture warrior yelling into the void.
 
Sad if true. He was kinda schizo but a huge breath of fresh air in the era of "Traps for Trump", Mark Kern, Scrump etc.
He was pretty much the only person willing to call out the obnoxious shit on the right side.

Common Filth opened my eyes to the bullshit propaganda about the gay community and troons. he also pushed me to God. The world is a lot worse without him even if he was only on Odyssey in his later years

Funny enough this sentiment comes from heavily Black sites like LSA where "dem whyte girls be fucking their dogs" has been pretty common for years before CF. He essentially introduced a resentful nigger meme into the online right-wing sphere.

Also I've never seen that meme on Lipstick Alley, but I see it a lot here.

Why are we idolizing this guy? Common Filth / Alex Showers was a violent unmedicated freak who emotionally & physically abused his parents and friends, never had a job in his life leeching off everyone around him, died at 36 drinking himself to death and was even worse than your average lolcow.

The 4chan thread announcing his death gives a lot of disturbing details from people who knew him IRL:

Common Filth threatened his parents with a knife and had run ins with the police.
Had childhood head trauma and went on meds. The creation of Common Filth was as a result of stopping his meds.
Traded his life for the internet, failed on the internet. Had a single friend in life who he threatened nonstop. Blamed all his problems on his freemason grandpa.

Common Filth randomly physically attacking his friend cause he had to get the vax for a and refusing to share an apartment with him, leading to him living with his parents in his mid 30s.

I say this as someone who enjoyed his content.
Don't know how many watched his odysee channel, but he was clearly going utterly insane for years while pretending to have the moral high ground. He did not.

His "white girls fuck dogs" meme came from a place of hating women and white people, not comedy.
Common Filth was ironically enough, worse than your "common filth", he was a garbage human.

There was a song of his that I should’ve downloaded when I still could, but never did in time. From his Contrast03 series.
