This is like saying Leifeld looks kind of bad but is very energetic.

And Narwal is no Leifeld. Narwal makes Leifeld look like a work horse and a technical draftsman. He should step up his game and put in a lot more effort per panel. Until then his stuff is very kinetic sloppy shit and deserving of ridicule.

No one needs to 'develop a taste for' lazy, simplistic shit that lacks proportion or attention to detail. He uses one line weight for everything ffs.

Yes Narwal's style is "kinetic" but aside from that it's pretty lousy. Maybe he needs to start spending some time on the page finishing his drawings or he should hire an inker to finish them for him. Narwal's finished work lacks the polish most layouts have let alone full pencils.

Laziness is not a "style".

Liefeld had a few things going for him early on, but got very sloppy in his Image days. It was not energetic, just over the top and captured the tropes of his era.
Not a bad artist, a great salesman but very bad businessman. Much of the hate he gets is for the shit he pulled during the 90's and his extreme-ly bleh books he published.

Narwal is not ready for the prime time too, he needs a penciler and an inker to finish his work to do a mainstream comicbook. But this is an indie crowdfunded book. The premise does not do it for me, the artwork is odd but I can see why it is working. The SG artwork however is not working for the intended audience and no ammount of finishes can fix it.

Rob Leifeld at least had the self awareness not to criticize the way Jim Lee and Marc Sylvestri were doing anatomy. He would have been mocked, even by his fans, just like Meyer and Narwal should be mocked.

If they're going to build their platforms saying the mainstream is pure shit they don't get a pass because they're "indy" when their project doesn't even measure up to the garbage they criticize.

I never received any of the money from this Go Fund Me. It all went straight to him, so he'll make those decisions.

Yeah, my goal was to make a space for non-SJWs to make comics unhindered. That's what I've been doing. That's my entire purpose and everything I care about.

Zack's goal was to punish Mark Waid for interfering with his publishing ambitions and send up a warning to others like him, so that Zack could do what he's been doing. I assume people donated to help him in that effort.

Your goals for ComicsGate aren't mine. Stop making your dissatisfaction my problem. Go make the changes you want, instead of criticizing the people who are taking that initiative for themselves.

The lawsuit was one of the few proactively positive things CG was involved in. Disappointing that Richard quit. He shouldn't have taken up the fight if he wasn't going to see it through.

Not going to fight with people on the right. SGM sucks for throwing Doug under the bus under social pressure though (and I say this as someone who doesn't like Doug).
