I had to dip out for dinner but had fun jokingly pitting Brian Shearer vs Elliot Fernandez. It felt like a stream from last summer - just fun and good comics books.

That show was a lot of fun.
The amount of great viewer art we got was outstanding, Draw Along with Drawn & Quartered is easily one of the best things about CG.

D&Q is one of my favorite Comicsgate streams. I often draw along but I don't use Twitter so I don't get to share but it's still a lot of fun.

Elliot is in a zone now where everything he is doing is just absolutely beautiful.
I saw a page of new pencils today from Canaan that were absolutely gorgeous - Brice might have shared them now.
There just so many people that developed their talent and seem to be hitting new peaks this year.

My take on it:
* she's really bad at data colection and processing AND presentation. But this is what I would expect from anyone dabbing into grievance studies.
* Americans have really weird perception of race and ethnicity, and as a Slavic person I feel excluded, Сука Блять.
* seeing the gender and sexuality one can think that comics attract all the marginalised people, while it's likely it's only people in their circlejerk on twitter that bothered taking that survey. The rest was too busy.
* survey in general is useless for Americans who want to unionise because it has less than 40% (gauging by the tag sizes... and it's exactly why she didn't do a pie chart for those AND didn't ask a question in which country you're based, only where are you from). So the answers have no real statistical meaning- she is unable to unionise internationally.
* and my fave - education. Given that very likely all the Bachelor's are from some art school. That explains a lot about the level of this people. For comparison where I am curretly you can't even even get a Bachelor's in art, there's no creative writing studies - only proper linguistics, and you spend 5 years in school that accepts 10-20 people a year per subject slaving your ass off. In comparison Bachelor's in art is like - why bother? Except for mingling with future peers. Not saying people here are smarter- just after leaving school they are on a level to compete with pros on the spot and dissillusioned on "art is fun and doesn't require much work to succeed" notion.

Its weird, because clearly the kid never faced any real discrimination or hardship in his life. He reminds me of the "Problem with Apu" guy. Rich parents, easy life, but one time some kid made fun of him on the playground for being an awkward dork and now he's raging 24/7 about perceived slights so petty that even a company like Image has to pull him aside and tell him to get a grip.

My take on the data, and don't expect anything scientific:
Looks like it was mostly HUHwhites/Caucasians
42% female identifying against 41% male. The Nonbinary/Other from my experience is mostly female being 'different' so who knows how many biologically female or male people are hiding in that little sliver. BUT with only 41% I guess guys can finally talk about being marginalized and oppressed.
Mostly straight - the results are again muddied by 'Other' and Bi which I have a hard time counting since once you're in a relationship you're either counted in gay or straight relationship. My `tism would rather you put down what you mostly date inside of (I'm technical 'Bi' but I have dated women more than men so I'd say 'straight')
Ultimately what did this study conclude really? What was her end goal with this? Is it supposed to help them unionize? Or is it just another fun survey she did to entertain herself while she gathers unemployment?
As for the Fil/Am guy... He really needs to chill. Stop drawing the same white guy face your whole life. When I was in art class no one reprimanded a student for varying their projects - i.e. draw a portrait of a person, we were allowed to draw whoever, and of whatever race... No one got scolded. If this happened to him, that truly is unfortunate that he was in A school that didn't allow him to do what he wanted... But that's the thing, it was the school, not Craig from Wyoming bending under the hot sun, farming land.
-The 'WHITE devil does Asian things better than Asians to save/beat up Asians' trope? I get that when those stories come out it may feel like that's all we get. How often do we actually get that outside of cheesy 80's flicks and a few comic characters? But if you want 'Asians do Asian things, to Asians' watch more Chinese cinema, or Japanese films or ... you know, Asian produced films in general. They are LITTERED with that specific trope. Does anyone else find it strange that when people complain about the Iron Fist 'trope' it's always dealing with martial arts, as if that's all Asians do? How pathetic they'd widdle their people down to just one type of film/story.
- In the end, if he doesn't like that Image didn't want to produce his racist comic, he should try self-publishing. 100% profits, sell directly to customers. The downside is: he'd have to do work. I know, sucks.
TL ; DR - I had a lot to say that's not interesting.
