To gentlemods: I'm purposefully double posting to delineate subjects. Do not merge, if possible. Or I'll unionise Kiwi Farms.
Ups. Cougar'd. Should've refreshed.

My take on it:
* she's really bad at data colection and processing AND presentation. But this is what I would expect from anyone dabbing into grievance studies.

* Americans have really weird perception of race and ethnicity, and as a Slavic person I feel excluded, Сука Блять.

* seeing the gender and sexuality one can think that comics attract all the marginalised people, while it's likely it's only people in their circlejerk on twitter that bothered taking that survey. The rest was too busy.

* survey in general is useless for Americans who want to unionise because it has less than 40% (gauging by the tag sizes... and it's exactly why she didn't do a pie chart for those AND didn't ask a question in which country you're based, only where are you from). So the answers have no real statistical meaning- she is unable to unionise internationally.

* and my fave - education. Given that very likely all the Bachelor's are from some art school. That explains a lot about the level of this people. For comparison where I am curretly you can't even even get a Bachelor's in art, there's no creative writing studies - only proper linguistics, and you spend 5 years in school that accepts 10-20 people a year per subject slaving your ass off. In comparison Bachelor's in art is like - why bother? Except for mingling with future peers. Not saying people here are smarter- just after leaving school they are on a level to compete with pros on the spot and dissillusioned on "art is fun and doesn't require much work to succeed" notion.
This is truly shocking. comics people are lily white, wear fedoras and are steeped in gayness.

The above should be converted into an equation to predict tranny infestation.

That equation already exists.

Here are the important takes on the data (imo).

Of all respondents, only 14% are "real" employees of a company (~9% full time employees, ~5% freelancer with exclusive contract). The overwhelming majority is "freelancer" which is not specified how much work is gotten, but traditionally this is not enough to live off of.

This looks really, really bad for unionization - because it means, roughly speaking, for every "good" (which can be argued) job, there are 10 people who want it. Even if we were being generous and threw all resumes that had a gender other than male or female directly in the trash, that still leaves 8 people for every one job in an industry that's already in the middle of capsizing. There's nearly enough hobbyists (~8%) to replace the entirety of the full time employees.

Additionally, nearly half (~45%) of the people surveyed don't work with a publication (self publish digitally, self publish physically, or via crowd funding) and therefore wouldn't really need to unionize because they own the shop they work out of, most likely. It's unclear in the data how many self publishers are in the 14% of "real" employees but I would put it at 4%, meaning the "full time employees" that work for a company drops down to ~10%.

There just are not enough jobs and too many people that want them - which is why there are so many "freelancers" complaining about unionization. It looks like a lot of people with talent decided to self publish and a lot of people without it took this survey.

There's a lot of really unimportant data here that means nothing. For example, ~56% of people surveyed are some kind of gay (bi, gay, other) but out of the 1000 surveyed people, only ~140 are "real" employees and we don't know what percentage of "real" employees are gay (and if we did, why that would matter).

It took longer to upload the archive than it did finding her info on the wayback machine by searching "renfamous"

This page is from 2012, she calls herself Lauren from Houston.
How is kiwi farms or comicsgate responsible for this?

I’m pretty certain I’m more likely to be mocked here for my unmitigated boomerism - than engagaing in anything sinister.

Comic books have become like a Game of Thrones - except there’s absolutely no budget for special effects or attractive actors.

"Claims of Good Faith" for Anti-Comicsgate at this point? What on earth are these people talking about? GO AWAY, WEIRDOS.

Also, Lauren, your real name and hometown are all over your twitter page. You posted photos of Amazon purchases with your info on them. Right out in the open. On your Twitter page.

Please be more careful if you prize your anonymity in your work as a fulltime shithead social media harasser.

I just find it hilarious that these imbeciles and piles of dead wood are trying to make a union, probably because they know that they can be dropped at any time if the industry wasn't snorting crack and just reaping the sins of turning cheapo storybooks into autismal collectors items.

Basically these contracted cunts want tenure and the ability to get money for no work if they fuck it up, which won't work because their skill level is so bad you can probably lease shit to Chris-chan at this rate and get a better return.

I find it even more amusing when 90% of them don't even have jobs at all. What the fuck kind of union would be composed 90% of people who don't even work anyway? What are they going to do during a strike? How can they slack off any more than they are already?

I would be so bold as to say Sonichu is unironically more creative and entertaining than anything Mags or Kwanzer has shit out.

Rumors swirling that DC is shutting down Vertigo after Mark Doyle's disastrous relaunch last year. Hopefully hit comic book series Goddess Mode has a chance to wrap up its epic story before this change takes effect.
Say it ain't so. Just when Vertigo was at its peak. With such hits as...
Border Town canceled by issue 4
Hex Wives finished at issue 6
American Carnage Currently at issue 8 (June 19)
Goddess Mode Currently at issue 6 (June 19)
High Level currently at issue 5 (June 26)
Safe Sex Announced in 2018 - currently unreleased (slated for "2019")
Second Coming Canceled before publication

Congratulations to Mark Doyle and Andy Khouri... you really showed Comicsgate boys, you really did!

Almost their entire Vertigo line was a product of 'Zack Derangement Syndrome' intended to thumb the nose at comicsgaters and Trumpland. You can imagine those two fucknuckles chuckling about how mad the incels are gonna be when they find out that Zoe Quinn will be writing a book. Well done lads, you're internet spat just tanked one of comics most prestigious lines.

I would like to wish Mark Waid all the same success in his work on 'The Inhumans' , which seems intent on continuing the good work of Vertigo's 'Project PWN Comicsgate'.

I'm pretty sure things will go well for.... oh... dear...

PS. Tone down the hyperbole EVS, you're beginning to sound like a slip'n trip lawyer coaching his client for the stand.

If Chris had anything resembling a work ethic I'd love to see him launch a crowdfunding campaign for new Sonichu comics. Yeah, he's got the Patreon that he ignores, but I can't help but wonder how he'd react to seeing sales go up in real time. Imagine him on a stream with EVS (and Cecil, Chris interacting with him would be gold) and during the show him raking in thousands of dollars. Sure, he'd blow it all on toys, but maybe somewhere in that lizard part of his brain he'd finally figure out a way to support himself that didn't involve getting a monthly check from the government.

Wouldn't Sega C&D the shit out of him though?
