He's definitely something, and it's not good. In fact he actually wears adult diapers because he's to fat and lazy to go to a toilet. In fact he tried to say they were for his daughter but they were XL ADULT MALE diapers so.....of course he lied. 😏 I mean he was better off just laughing it off, the fact he tried to say they were for his "8 year old daughter" pretty much proves what people said about him using them right, as well as proves him to be a liar....Again. Oh and using his own daughter as a shield and throwing her under the bus was also VERY scummy of him.
Why would a little girl wear men's adult diapers?
Imagine Your watching a movie with your girlfriend and she's pestering you with comments and questions constantly about everything, now imagine she's not a hot young woman you fuck regularly but a fat middle aged, autistic gay man obsessed with the chuds.

Being Richard's friend sounds like an actual nightmare.
I doubt that's just a friend fam.

The irony of this nigger's mental retardation.

So it makes Eric look bad for not having movies and TV shows, because of the leg up he got from CG.

But it doesn't make CG look like a bunch of useless fucks when they also don't have those things.

It’s honestly one of my favorite signs you’re dealing with someone in cognitive decline.

“If a lot of people are mad at me, that means I’m doing something right!”

Or, you’re just a humongous retard who’s too old to be carrying on that way, and everybody stopped slap fighting to laugh at you.
Richard busting out the DSP skinwalking.

Oh good, now all five people who actually watched Wonder Man can get together for a Season 2 watch party. "I'll bring the winebox!"

Fun thing, Geoff Johns who EVS used to work with at DC, started a company called ghost machine with a load of other comic professionals. They have been having huge success and there's some paramount pictures deal to adapt one of the series he worked on.

A urologist pal told me that incontinence at a relatively young age (that is, not octogenarian) can be better addressed with pelvic floor exercises. Adult diapers just help to contain your problem - literally in this case - but don't really make things better.

EVS does look like he is allergic to any bodily movement other than his mouth, though, so maybe this won't apply to him.

Him having such a sperg about it proves that it's true and that it bothers him.
HE PEES HIS PANTS!
HE DIDN'T GET HIS TRANSFORMER!
HE HAD TO PLAY WITH LANDO HE FOUND IN THE MUD!

Even WHEN Eric July ends up with TV shows, movies, animated series, AND he ends up selling his books to more bookstores like Barnes & Noble, these complete and total retards are going to still say he's failing....in fact the new goal post will be either one of the two narratives: 1. It didn't happen fast enough "ignoring the fact that the company is completely private" and 2. They're going to say that he ended up being that successful all because of THEM somehow. Literally nothing he does will EVER be good enough for them, and yet despite all of that...NONE OF THEM ended up going anywhere in life themselves. 🙄

Richard completely misses the entire point of the comparison. It's not trying to get one side to kill the other, it's pointing out the obvious that comics, specifically from Marvel and DC, need to adapt to the current market and customer wants, which manga has been doing. And no, it's not people who don't read either, it's almost always people who read both making that comparison.

No then he'll be a sell-out who turned his back on all the CG people responsible for his success.

What's funny is Eric July was never a part of comicsgate to begin with. But of course they're going to lie about that too. 🤷 They had their chance to be somebody, but now pretty much everyone in CG are nobody at this point now. Eric July doesn't owe these people anything, if anything they owe him.

Edit: btw I don't go by guilt by affiliation involving this, just because he hired people from CG to draw some covers for him and even had one write a comic for him, doesn't mean he's part of them.

That reminds me: In the 90s, when Shonen Jump had just finished running DB and were looking for the next big hit, they noticed that Rurouni Kenshin was very popular amongst women to the point its readership was composed mainly by women. Those women that were buying the WSJ magazine were introduced to the rest of the series too in the process. The bosses tried to find what attracted women into the mag and came to a conclusion. Women want pretty boys and do not mind fights (especially when clothing damage exposes muscles and gives the opportunity to be vulnerable and masculine) while men want fights and do not mind pretty boys (especially when they can fantasize about being attractive AND strong at the same time).

After that, there was a paradigm shift that still remains: The WSJ started publishing stories featuring young, attractive men doing the same things the previous bodybuilder-looking protagonists were doing. They did not change the content, they changed the presentation. This did not cost them male readers, it merely gained them female ones. They never told men "we do not need you", they said "here is something you might like". The readership voted with their wallets and the rest is history.

I think Jim Lee should have addressed this in his interview. WSJ did not need to try to bring women in nor did it need to alienate men. It brought women by accident, brought more by understanding what attracts women to a work and kept the men by remaining true to what they wanted from stories. Not that hard to get. This is how you bring women to male-dominated spaces.

Why would a little girl wear men's adult diapers?

Good question. That's one of if not THE main reason why people don't believe him now. He was better off saying nothing, because not only do people know he wears diapers now BUT he is also a scummy father that threw his daughter under the bus in order to make himself look better.....only to fail in the end. 😏 I would NOT want to be HIM right now THAT'S for sure.

Manga is not some weird new medium unique to Japan and completely unrelated to comics. It's just comics. Literally. Comparing Japanese comics to American comics is perfectly fine because they're essentially the same product. It's just that one is significantly more popular than the other right now, and Richard can't stand it because it makes his favorite form of comic (capeshit nobody reads except the Absolute line) look bad by comparison.

Imagine the state of Comicsgate being a bunch of gray beard, fatherless, obese white men hugboxxing over who wears adult diapers and one dating some mail order bride from Asia saying said "look at that neck muscle🤓" if there's a more perfect ad to not be a right winger, that was it.

Good thing these are not right-wingers anymore.
