The irony of this nigger's mental retardation.
Richard busting out the DSP skinwalking. It’s honestly one of my favorite signs you’re dealing with someone in cognitive decline.
“If a lot of people are mad at me, that means I’m doing something right!”
Or, you’re just a humongous retard who’s too old to be carrying on that way, and everybody stopped slap fighting to laugh at you.
Oh good, now all five people who actually watched Wonder Man can get together for a Season 2 watch party. "I'll bring the winebox!"
Fun thing, Geoff Johns who EVS used to work with at DC, started a company called ghost machine with a load of other comic professionals. They have been having huge success and there's some paramount pictures deal to adapt one of the series he worked on.The irony of this nigger's mental retardation.
So it makes Eric look bad for not having movies and TV shows, because of the leg up he got from CG.
But it doesn't make CG look like a bunch of useless fucks when they also don't have those things.
Even WHEN Eric July ends up with TV shows, movies, animated series, AND he ends up selling his books to more bookstores like Barnes & Noble, these complete and total retards are going to still say he's failing....in fact the new goal post will be either one of the two narratives: 1. It didn't happen fast enough "ignoring the fact that the company is completely private" and 2. They're going to say that he ended up being that successful all because of THEM somehow. Literally nothing he does will EVER be good enough for them, and yet despite all of that...NONE OF THEM ended up going anywhere in life themselves.Fun thing, Geoff Johns who EVS used to work with at DC, started a company called ghost machine with a load of other comic professionals. @MikeyNohMore I think he misses you
Richard completely misses the entire point of the comparison. It's not trying to get one side to kill the other, it's pointing out the obvious that comics, specifically from Marvel and DC, need to adapt to the current market and customer wants, which manga has been doing. And no, it's not people who don't read either, it's almost always people who read both making that comparison.
Oh NOOOOO....I'll bet she is TERRIFIED of a MISERABLE little nobody and his ever shrinking trash stream.
No then he'll be a sell-out who turned his back on all the CG people responsible for his success.Even WHEN Eric July ends up with TV shows, movies, animated series, AND he ends up selling his books to more bookstores like Barnes & Noble, these complete and total retards are going to still say he's failing....in fact the new goal post will be either one of the two narratives: 1. What's funny is Eric July was never a part of comicsgate to begin with. But of course they're going to lie about that too.No then he'll be a sell-out who turned his back on all the CG people responsible for his success.
That reminds me: In the 90s, when Shonen Jump had just finished running DB and were looking for the next big hit, they noticed that Rurouni Kenshin was very popular amongst women to the point its readership was composed mainly by women. Those women that were buying the WSJ magazine were introduced to the rest of the series too in the process. The bosses tried to find what attracted women into the mag and came to a conclusion. Women want pretty boys and do not mind fights (especially when clothing damage exposes muscles and gives the opportunity to be vulnerable and masculine) while men want fights and do not mind pretty boys (especially when they can fantasize about being attractive AND strong at the same time).Richard completely misses the entire point of the comparison. Why would a little girl wear men's adult diapers?
Manga is not some weird new medium unique to Japan and completely unrelated to comics. It's just comics. Literally. Comparing Japanese comics to American comics is perfectly fine because they're essentially the same product. It's just that one is significantly more popular than the other right now, and Richard can't stand it because it makes his favorite form of comic (capeshit nobody reads except the Absolute line) look bad by comparison.
Good thing these are not right-wingers anymore.Imagine the state of Comicsgate being a bunch of gray beard, fatherless, obese white men hugboxxing over who wears adult diapers and one dating some mail order bride from Asia saying said "look at that neck muscle" if there's a more perfect ad to not be a right winger, that was it.
Marvel and DC are infamous for being slow as molasses to adapting. By the time they actually do adapt, there will be a new trend leaving them behind.Richard completely misses the entire point of the comparison.
