I wonder if he's going to think twice about Helephant now. Probably not.

Think twice about taking money in advance for a project that he may not even live long enough to complete? Ya, probably not.

Yeah, he's the one at fault. There are unwritten rules about this and he fucked up at least two of them.

1. If the car behind you is clearly faster, let him pass. The only time this doesn't really apply is towards the end of of a race AND both cars are competing for the podium or championship points.

2. If you're a lapped car and you're not in a position to get back on the lead lap, let the faster cars pass.

(There's nuance between the first and second point, but they are different)

There's no way to rationalize Coomelot being in the right. This isn't the 80s anymore and stock car racing is an expensive sport. Numbnuts is gonna have heat from the other driver after this shit. Not only did he cost his team money (money that he clearly doesn't have), but he cost the other guy too, from the big picture perspective and the race perspective.

It wouldn't shock me if he starts getting blacklisted. Stock car racing is still a good ole boys network and he's labeled himself as a money vacuum with negative return. He's not a raw, young driver oozing with potential. He's a bum that wrecks cars.
Now, I've never driven stock car.

I did, however, used to do amateur "hobby" racing through the SCCA. At many of the races, I'd find myself on the track with vehicles either in higher or lower classes than me.

Heck, one of the guys I'd hang out with raced an Austin-Healey Sprite with a .9L engine. No that's not a typo, it was less than a liter in displacement.

My point is, you'd often have to make way for faster cars, or dodge cars that were practically standing still. There wasn't any "rule" that said you had to, but if you didn't make way, and chose to drive 3 wide into turns like that, you'd probably find all the valve cores from your race trailer's tires taped to your windshield at the end of the day.

Second time would get you an ass-kicking.

And there it is.
He's hungry for a new narrative. He needs to get away from Riley and Rickeita. He's going to use anything he can to get away from this mess.
He's backpedaling to the "I'm not a whisper network whore" talking points again.

He has 8 unfulfilled campaigns, and rather than fulfill them, this is what he's doing.

“I’m the victim here! Mememememe! That’s why I have to keep doing a podcast dedicated solely to hating on EricJuly people that call me out mean internet trolls!”

With that logic doesn't he have a crush on Brian & Heather.
Well, that was retarded. I think people are sort of fascinated that a trainwreck like The Acolyte can exist, and to watch huge amounts of money burning on the pyre we call Disney Star Wars. Also, his cope about this, "Wow, losing money on Star Wars is great because Disney can claim the loss on their taxes." Yes, I'm sure they spent all that money to buy it so they could lose money on it. He also doesn't seem to get that, yes all the culture war grift channels subscribe to streaming services like Disney+ (you know so they'll have content for their livestreams which make them money).

I'm not sure what the rest of his rambling, bizarre monologue was about except that he thinks some somewhat popular actresses are ugly and he gets really strong crushes on celebrities sort of like Annie Wilkes. Oh, and he took the time to disrespect Tropic Thunder, because it's ok when he does it, as usual. (One fascinating thing about Zack is he'll say a movie that is fairly beloved and say "it isn't good." He expects his audience to accept that as the Word of God. However, God forbid one of his audience members doesn't want to rush to the theater to see Furiosa or Dial of Destiny.)

That many? Wow. Surprised IndieGoGo hasn't prevented him from launching more campaigns.

Guess he's maybe angling for pitybux superchats or something?

Still a bit surprised he'd want to acknowledge this place at this point, which has gone from largely sympathetic to, well, cynical about the whole ComicsGate enterprise. And with the receipts to back up this change in opinion.

Edit: I can't remember the last time I wrote a supervillain monologue. Guess I better pick up the pace?

In fact, I'm not sure I ever have written one. 😬

Bonus:
It looks like Rekt Planet (the campaign from 2020) STILL hasn't completed fulfillment.

How well does Camelot do in races on average? Is it outrageous to propose that he doesn't mind crashing in order to get attention on himself and his car considering he certainly isn't thrilling anyone by being 4 laps down and back in the pack? Is he just a bad driver?

According to people that follow racing here. He's not great. Some of it could be the car though. But apparently his driving skills are not up to par.

And while it's possible he crashes on purpose. I'd like to believe he doesn't because of how dangerous doing so can be. Him and the other drivers should be protected fairly well. But people can still die or get horribly injured.

Looked him up real quick and as much as wikipedia is a shithole it explains who he is pretty well.

Long story short he's one of the original writers of Battletech/Mechwarrior books and lore before he was replaced by retarded trannys. Battletech has some really involved and very cool shit if you're a big RPG dork like me so this guy probably had a big hand in it. On top of writing some of my favorite stuff he also made Daxipad seethe so he's extra cool.

Razorfist has had this guy on his show a few times. He seems like a decent guy.

Can't recall if it was the last race or the one before that one, but didn't he clip someone? I think it was a case of not letting someone pass and him of course being near last place again.

I guess a different question could be. In the last year, this dude has had 4 or 5 accidents. Possibly more for all I know. Is that normal? At what point do owners or ARCA themselves tell the guy he has to go back to the minor league or something? Or does it get to the point where he's no longer insurable? Assuming insurance plays a part in racing.

While possible, his explanation about lack of context never made much sense to me. The conversation that happened after seemed more like a separate conversation that was somewhat related to the prior topic.

I heard him clearly pause during that confession, and try to pick the best words to describe what he said to these artists.
"We went around to these other artists that Eric could hire and we uh---we know who is available in our sphere--and we uh... uh... you know. The only guy that would do it is probably Mark Brooks, just to spite me."

The context is as clear as the glare off of his greasy forehead.
But that's why he's retreating to this position. It's easier to fight about this than to stay on with Riley as the truth about him and Dax continues to come out.

Posting here because most of the discussion about Camelot's racing fails go here after he linked up with EVS

Camelot got involved in another wreck, this time in a Timcast branded car at the ARCA Menards Atlas 150 Iowa

Dumb redneck faggot crashes car while in 14th place, knocks top guy out of place and blames the guy... Surprised. (not)
Jarbo is literally the DSP of commentary channels, except he's even less relevant than DSP.

So him calling Eric the DSP, while he is at his own height of popularity and is constantly making a million dollars on his campaigns, is such a DSP thing to do.

I'm going to take a guess that this person is related to the other driver since they have the same last names. Coomy has big brain energy going on if he's getting into arguments like this when he's bumming rides from anyone who'll let him drive their car.
At what point do owners or ARCA themselves tell the guy he has to go back to the minor league or something? Or does it get to the point where he's no longer insurable? Assuming insurance plays a part in racing.
ARCA is the minor leagues, as far as NASCAR. It is a curious situation though because I'm not sure why anyone would let him drive their car. You'd think it was because the team owner wants to use the car as a guinea pig to test things from the garage, but that doesn't make sense for 2 reasons.

1. If a car is in that position and has the infrastructure, it's due a team's prior success. All of Coomy's rides have been low-performing, one-offs, not established enterprises.

2. He's a wreck magnet and that's the polar opposite of what you want to drive under-funded cars. I can blindly guarantee that every team that races in ARCA loses money. Wrecked cars lose even more money. This is why Coomy is butthurt about anyone coming in with money, because destroying resources doesn't sting nearly as much.

The fact he drives like he does in the position he's in makes 0 sense. My only guess is his ability to bring in z-tier e-sponsorships, but there's no way that $$$ covers the cost of him going out there and destroying race cars. It's only a matter of time before no one offers him a spot in the driver's seat.

Coom drives a rental. He pays the guy to let him drive the car. He's also shown that he cares more about finishing the race somewhat safely than being competitive, that's why he usually finishes a half-dozen laps behind.

Just kidding! I was only pretending to be a jealous faggot! Jokes on you, haha! Now make less money with me because I'm a lazy ironic streamer who's brand is on fire in a dumpster!

Jarbo is retarded. Eric July is a millionaire with a bunch of fans and a good job and outside of his alogs he's spun all of their schemes and harassment into PR making him appear as a sympathetic character who is getting fucked with for no reason. He is nothing like DSP.

This is like when Jarbo said that the Rock isn't a movie star, despite making hundreds of millions of dollars acting in movies.

I find myself hoping that this is the end of the road for EVS. He's been entertaining as a Machiavellian character because of all the drama he's caused but he really is just a self serving snake. At the end of the day I can't really abide his involvement with War Campaign, the unfulfilled books and how boring his streams are. Then you have his involvement with Dick Masterson, the Vitophile and defending Riley who pisses on and beats his mentally retarded girlfriend. It was a lot easier to overlook how slimey EVS is when you had people like Preston and Liam Gray in the fray. His Alogs really didn't do themselves any favours when often they were either incredibly boring or unhinged.

I hope Cider is right in that some of EVS biggest supporters are joining forces with his biggest alogs. Wiggle working with DA Talks.. Strange bedfellows, it just makes for a good storyline.

That’s why I can’t look away for the time being. I’m truly in awe at how many hypocritical pretzels he can twist himself into.
Maybe he should write comics about this. Of course, they’d come out 12 years after his, and the people who ordered them’s, deaths but…
Idk much about Eric July but he's based for making a bunch of washed up losers seethe for no reason.
It’s amazing how far jealousy can drive people. I remember around the time I stopped paying attention to them, EVS was getting kind of snippy about Kamen America and I didn’t know why. I’m gonna guess an early showing of his inferiority complex going off.

Tim Lim was once a Comicsgater that had an uneasy battle buddy friendship with Ethan in the early days of CG (circa 2017). At some point Tim Lim became unhappy with the amount of industry pros entering the "OG CG" club house. His breaking point was the addition of Mike S Miller. Make of that what you will. However he decided that wearing a pair of black gloves and reading out some transcripts of very dumb bullshit said in private by Ethan was smart... And that of course bought him a ticket out of CG when Ethan found a way to make Tim look creepy for approaching his greivances in that manner.
When I arrived in February of 2019, Tim and Mark had departed CG already, and were working on Magademia in independent of CG. Warcampaign's narrative was that Tim wanted power and was denied it, and was thus sent out of CG. This narrative stuck and today the diehards of CG still believe Tim fingers his pet rabbits. (That was a thing Ethan and WC circulated.)

Kamen America's success was the same problem Ethan has with Eric, someone he doesn't see as greater than himself---rising up to threaten his self appointed status as arbiter of good or bad comics. A regular fulfillment schedule does the same thing to Ethan that turning a vacuum cleaner on does to a dog.

Besides not understanding or respecting manga Ethan has had a beef with Tim Lim going back to 2018-2019. Lim was one of the first guys EVS sent the Warcampaign after, I believe for leaking info to @LateNightComics here on the thread over a thousand pages back? When Ethan Van Sciver joined CG the guns turned inward. People you see in these collages like Lim/his bunny, Jon Del Arroz (in his trans pen name alter ego?), J Ishiro Finney, Comic Hut, Matt Merz, Edwin Boyette, Ben Hennessy, (even Preston Poulter) are all conservative or libertarians yet are framed as SJWs in the mold of Mark Waid Tim Doyle, Renfamous, Kwanzer etc. It's the same kind of shit that Ethan is pulling with Eric July now, except he has freelance retards making homosexual operative content now (such as Ripoffverse) instead of a Warcampaign.
