I watch a lot of Zach videos and he is constantly asking what was the patient zero for the SJW infection. The past two weeks we finally learned that, it were the forums Warren ellis set up in order to bang goth chicks.

He's nobody trying to make it in comics, but honestly, he summed up the prevailing thinking of pros in 3 tweets or less, at the same time roasting every single non English comics scene. Cecil's book is tame compared to some things you could find in French Lanfeust which is 12+

Most twitter comicsfan would implode from outrage if they read European comicbook. And a good deal of CGers would get great value out of European comics - especially Italian books.
 
Justin Jordan (writer of Death of Love, which Donal Delay did the art for), who doesn’t usually post explicitly political or inflammatory content, weighs in. Apparently you shouldn’t just support people disowning Dynamite. You should give them money for nothing in return.

I don't see how Frog can associate with Dynamite going forward. The whole "they aren't political, they just want to make money" thing flew out the window when they back BLM and bail for terrorists but throw Cecil out. No way to square that circle.
 
Does Dynamite really think this'll do anything? SJWs arent gonna line right up to support them now. Theyve already started tweeting "WHAT ABOUT EVS" and they're never gonna stop with "what about ___"

If Dynamite would've kept the variant (which had like, I dont know, 90 backers) everyone wouldve forgotten in a week.

Doing a Cecil variant is cringe but I dont like when the knee gets bent for Karens.

Ethans relationship with Nick Barucci is royally fucked. Theres no "Dynamite Doorway" anymore and Ethan getting his friends sweetheart gigs doing covers and books for Dynamite is over.
SJW's are going to feel more emboldened than ever now that Dynamite has caved on this.

The doorway for Ethan is closed at this point. Miss Fury is next. Tanking that book through mass refunds is the only weapon CG has in its arsenal. If they continue to back Miss Fury they have lost entirely.
