Most of the people in this thread have played the game and formed their own opinion.
They do not need some grifting jewtuber telling them what to think. Only nigger cattle take their talking points from internet strangers.
I have no idea if he's glazing or shitting on the game, and I don't care.

Dont watch some syntjetic fag clone for fucka sake. Read the thread and form your own opinion
People with fragile opinions are so funny

I was struggling with this initially, as well as some early game enemies having odd attack timings. I had to jar myself away from focusing on the character animation and to start paying attention to the enemy models and the timing. Every attack, especially multi hit enemy attacks, usually follows a set cadence. Once you've fought something a few times (or in case of some bosses, many times) you can usually get the rhythm down. Most story bosses are pretty forgiving with missing dodges and parries, but the optional ones require you to be consistent. I can think of one Chromatic in particular who essentially gets unlimited turns until you parry him a few times and take advantage of break.

I think anyone who has played a keyed instrument has an advantage in the timing.

I feel like I'm playing clarinet again when parrying long attacks.

fucking finally killed
that flying fucking faggot.
i swear my ds4 is finally dying or the parry-block was totally fucked that fight

Did you figure out the gimmick though?
if you focus on gaining AP instead of just doing damage, he'll blow himself up every turn.

It's on Game Pass, so it flew under my radar. Only concern about me with this game is the turn based gameplay. Last one I've played was South Park: TSoT. Everything else from what I've seen/heard looks promising and engaging.

I just finished it.

I loved the story until the end of Act 2. I was totally enraptured with it.

It fell off hard for me after that when it was revealed it was a painting. I stopped giving a fuck at that point that none of the characters I'd grown to like, apart from Maelle, were "real" people. Every cut scene after that was just Verso/Maelle/Renoir having the exact same conversation over and over in different words. It was very disappointing. I chose the Verso ending, I couldn't even be bothered to look up what happens if you choose Maelle.

If you intrinsically hate Turn-Based games, then skip it and play something else you like.
If you're on the fence, I would recommend reading the thread. We had different people give different opinions, and there's plenty of images and videos of gameplay, enough for you to make an opinion of your own, without having some bottom-feeder jewtube grifter vomit shit in your ears.
