Never been a fan of Final Fantasy type games but gave this a try because it looked cool and it's fun as fuck.

But holy shit, I second the whole "tons of black people in France" thing is blatant propaganda. I know it's kind of a silly thing to get worked up over but it's more that it's just been a death by a thousand cuts in all of our media so these small little splinters feel like planks.

I picked up a month of Game Pass to try and play this game with my girl, even though I hate Jrpgs and I am a virulent racist. So if you are part of my demographic, I'll let you know how I like it in a few hours.

It looks sick, the premise is compelling, and I like the reviews here in the thread. Let's see if it's the 4 niggas in a row that I hate or if it's the Japanese writing that I have hated in the past.

Also, out of curiosity, to get their game on game pass or I guess Xbox in general, must the install procedure allow you to play before it has completed downloading? I wonder how that works. I feel like a program would need all its components installed before it would run, but I see I can play it before it's half way completed. Pretty cool.
 
I don't pay money for games anymore so I'm not that mad about things that I already expect from modern media, but so far it's been fun, combat system and RPG elements are fun and exploitable, story is engaging and not what I would consider generic or too derivative.

I feel like it may actually be a panicked late addition, they really stick out, not just as blacks in Europe, but as having less detail than the white character models, so I'm inclined to think that it's actually an invest(or/ment group) that noticed and made them "correct" the "problem."

Just like Musa the magical negro in KCD2? Not buying it. Even if that were true, that just makes the studio look like a bunch of spineless cucks, which considering they're ex Ubisoft employees is not surprising.
I'm not going to speak on behalf of actual gameplay or content itself yet as I haven't looked into it, but I am seeing more and more anti-woke grifters praising it like no tomorrow, that includes the mentally retarded jew Mark Mann who is most famous for showing his asshole on camera. Glowing endorsement, if I ever saw one. This is an observation I saw back when KCD2 launched as well, but it seems people will praise anything, even a mediocre slog, since they're THAT starved for videogames. Very pathetic battered niggercattle behavior, and we all saw how that game ended up, that's why I am going to take any mention of the game being "good" or "fun" with a heavy pinching of salt, since I know what constitutes as "fun" for the kind of people praising this game.
 
As I play more I'm getting a dark feeling in my stomach that we're going to be seeing a LOT of pooner fanfiction about Gustave. It's like the character designers specifically made him for that purpose. Him in that blue suit is tailor-made for tumblr hornyposting.

Well, no, Musa is a fleshed out character with an entire part of the narrative dedicated to him isn't he? or as least an entire side quest, I feel that's an entirely different thing unless there's some magical negro who solves all your problems later in the story, in which case I'm deadass wrong, but I haven't seen that yet. I don't even disagree they're cucks, I'm just saying what it feels like, which is post-hoc addition as opposed to foundational. Also tribalists doing what tribalists do? shock, shock and horror. I don't care what you imagine my "fun" to be, I feel I communicated pretty clearly that abusable combat systems are what I think is "fun" about the game, if I didn't- whatever.

Musa is a fanfic character based off someone who was dead at the time despite being advertised as "historically accurate". He also does very stereotypical things for a negro, like literally telling white people that their food isn't spicy enough and openly shitting on Christianity at a time when something like this would get you killed, especially coming from a muslim, which makes even less sense why he's in the game to being with other than to meet a checkmark. So, when someone says he is "fleshed out" that is not exactly the praise you think it is, but this is neither here nor there for this thread.
I didn't actually see you expand on why you think the combat in the game is "fun". Exploitable, abusable combat system is vague since this describes quite literally every single RPG system in gaming, is there anything actually fun about this game or is it a blatant FF ripoff, which is pretty much the anti-thesis of fun if we're talking about the modern entries?

You didn't answer what gameplay aspect you actually liked, so this is another red flag. The anti-woke retards that seem to cry about other people who don't like niggers as much as them never seem to go in-depth about why they liked the gameplay.
 
The biggest win of this game is it was made by 30 people. The game itself may have a message in it but killing off massive development teams kills woke for good. Woke relies on massive inefficiencies to survive.

also way to miss my whole ass point on the fucking representation of niggers between the games and the contrast I was pointing out, you see "fleshed out" as good, I see it as how much effort development put into it, you're not seeing the actual point I'm making, and again I don't even disagree that they're a cucked out team, I just think you're a fucking retard.

Big KCD2 vibes here, this is exactly how that thread looked right before it all went to hell. You know, because despite all the damage control, the game was kinda woke and overrated at the end of the day, despite all the tears from the several fans the game had telling us otherwise. I will wait until the honeymoon period ends since it's clear this game is not nearly as good as people say it is, assuming anyone will even remember it by then.

It’s funny to read reviews on steam and 90+% of negative reviews are from bads who get extremely filtered by dodging and parrying and want the game to be baby mode for them :story:
